Hi all,

In this video I continue my dred test model for my upcoming 30k gaming army. I'm getting more confident with the camera and I'm really pleased with some of the footage in this one.

A few of you mentioned using chapters to break up the length of the video and make it easier to search. I've done that for this video. It turns out I'd done this for the first video too, but referred to them as time stamps instead. Same difference as far as I can make out.

Let me know your thoughts, I'm really enjoying doing these.

This is exactly the sort of thing I am looking to watch. More in depth than other things I can see on Youtube, you're covering the *why* as well as the how, very matter of fact attitude, no "Technique of the week", solid results, interesting detailed background on techniques and reasoning. Love it cheers.

Great video Henry. Appreciate the 'chapters' and summary. Especially like the deep dive aspects, such as looking at how oils and thinner works, recommended paints, issues that come up and how to solve them, myth busting etc. - really helps to drill down into different areas and also dispel some of the rubbish that circulates on social media about why things don't work. The Forge World masterclass books look interesting but prohibitively expensive; do you know where we can get them from for a more affordable price? Cheers. PS. A list of paints used in the description would be a nice touch too if you're that way inclined...

fantastic stuff, agree with others, bookmarks/timestamps and a material list for quick referencing would go a long way. Looking forward to the next!

Oo you reminded me to dig out my three imperial armour model masterclass books and I’ve been inspired to sponge paint my Aeronautica Imperialis ork planes so they look cool, orky and take way less time to paint.

Have to agree with everyone else - these longer format videos are great. Hearing the “why” is often more helpful than the “how”, so it’s been very useful to hear your thought processes as you go. The one other bit of feedback I have - it might just be the setup I was listening on, but I couldn’t hear any of the background noise you kept apologising for (puppy, etc) so maybe it’s something you don’t need to worry about :)
