Great video, here is my question. How can we modify an enamel wash/panel liner to suit different base colours rather than having to buy lots of different ones? Alternatively what should we consider when mixing an oils for the different colours?

Just wanted to say guys this is great, seeing how to expand an army theme / scheme across multiple unit types is really helpful and provides guidance so those of us who are a little less confident in our decisions still. i know this may not be for everyone but i like being able to follow along with tutorials and sometimes feel lost when trying to translate a scheme from a base troop to a dread or tank etc.

Really like this Henry (and not just because it's a cool scheme on a cool Drukhari model); the combination of a shorter more accessible format while still giving lots of explanation/ reasoning and supporting PDF materials is definitely a winner for army painting.

Thats fantastic... I'll be stealing this method for my Craftworld Eldar. Just a question - What colours would you use for battle damage for a Lilac main colour?

Allie Donald-Munro

loving seeing a more in depth video into army painting. This year I have took the plunge into painting a full army so these videos have definitely helped. thank you

Great video. I've always found my favourite army's tell stories, or at least give the impression of story telling. Maybe worth mentioning colour choices of shadows and or highlights can really help with that (as well as bases and weathering, though you obviously haven't got to those parts of the video yet).

Andreas Jensen

Great video! FYI: Some of the names for paints appearing in text are swapped it appears.

Would something like Scale75 Scalecolor Inktense green or Liquitex Muted Turquoise be good replacements for someone who does not like spraying GW contrast paints?

Pieter-Jan Van Gucht

coming to this video pretty late, as a relatively recent subscriber to the patreon. Have to say I love these expansions on the army painting stuff for YT. Would love to see more of them and very much looking forward to the crimson fist one!

What's the reasoning behind missing out the incubi darkness on this and using straight terradon contrast?
