Hi all,

Next part, in which we focus on battle damage. A step I particularly enjoy but also get frustrated at when I see lazy application!

Enjoy, Henry

Army Painting + Crimson Fists PART 2

In this video we focus on battle damage. And understanding the importance of the application to achieve a great result.

This is looking great Henry; really useful tutorial as well 👍🏻. One question about realism of the metallic chipping: Vince Venturella is always saying that the metal underneath the paint spray would not be polished, so it should be much duller than a silver colour - what’s your view on that? On the one hand, I can see what he’s saying about strict realism, but on the other hand, a silver effect stands out more and gives much better contrast with both the armour itself and also the dark brown damage.

this is mostly how i paint my battle damage, if the damage is big i try to fill with rust and with a grey on some edges if its possible, takes a lot of time tho

I may have missed any hint of this, but, as I'm trying this scheme out, where did you manage to find the crimson fist transfers???
