Happy New Year everyone! Very pleased to kick off this year with a project that I am very very excited about! I could write lots of waffle here; but there is plenty of that in the video! It looks like go on Demon in Chicago is going ahead, I will be going for it from now on.

Enjoy!

Wow, you’ve certainly captured the moment the Vampire hunters are shouting “Freeze!” - just a little to late for the victim. Superb video - it’s always a joy to hear people talk about projects they are passionate about and it helps fire my own creative thoughts and ideas. Thanks

Kieran Mclaughlin

Going to be a stunning diorama man! Really love these videos, I always come away buzzing to get some hobby done. Always an absolute joy to hear how passionate you are and listen to your thought process behind each decision. Love it! Thanks!

Rich DK

Extremely cool idea! I love this. I just painted Galen Ven Denst. I did him without the hat, although it was a tough choice. He has one of the best faces GW has ever done in my opinion.

Lloyd Newman

Really enjoyed the waffle and find explanation of the thought process behind your projects very valuable. This and the Ahriman vid are great, keep them coming!

Concentration.Face.Mark

Brilliant, love these types of videos. Very inspiring and thought provoking!

Thanks for doing this Andy, so great to see and understand your process in such detail. Inspiring

Brian Battersby

That looks amazing, can’t wait to follow along. So inspiring as well!

Tim Burton

Really enjoyed the process side of things. Such an exciting idea! Can’t wait to see how the journey progresses.

Excellent video, can’t wait for more. Also loving the waffle; great insight.

all I could think watching the stills at the end was "I would absolutely watch this movie" so dynamic

Really great video Andy! Super interesting getting your thoughts on process and composition. This is going to look fantastic when it's finished - highly atmospheric. Also stoked to see the vampire skin tutorial, as I constantly want to paint pale desaturated skin and find it difficult. Question: any tips on stopping the superglue from drying out in the applicator? I find that I'm constantly having to cut pieces off mine or force paperclips/ sculpting tools into them to get the glue out. Cheers.

This absolutely blew me away Andy. Very impressive composition which also fits perfectly in the warhammer world. I'll also award you extra points for using a model from my favorite 2021 GW release (the vampire warband) and the epic brainwave that led to the use of Margherita Lady as a sacrificial victim! Very much looking forward to the rest of this. I will definitely try your take on vampire skin in the near future as I'm working on WFB vampire counts myself :).

Looks Great Andy. I enjoyed the explanation and design process from looking at art to put it together.

Rob Scott

WOW! Those models just seem to work so well together in your setup. Especially the wolves - they look so much better without Belladamma. Shame that Arihman isn't going to happen, but I think I prefer the look of this. Excited to see it come together

David Kraytsberg

really awesome video. seeing your process is just as valuable as the actual painting tutorial. I hope it works out for the channel and you can continue to let us know about the pre-process and planning!

Ryan

Outstanding composition and beginning to the piece, can't wait to see this series evolve.

Nick James
