Hi all,

Here's an army painting video focussing on the key areas and techniques you might want to employ when painting a Tau army. With the releases coming thick and fast I will endeavour to have something out for each new army that we see. For now though I hope you enjoy your railgun nonsense!

Welcome back Henry! Great to see the return of the army painting series, and very excited for Argel Tal. Re: the format going forward, I really like the approach shown in this video. A solid c. 10-20 minute video where you talk things over and show how you'd approach the main parts of a faction ticks all my boxes when it comes to a basic army painting video, and if that helps get out videos to match the ridiculous number of armies getting releases, then all the better.

Hey Henry, Great video and very helpful. Nice to have the skin recipe included. The only other thing I would say would be mega helpful is ideas for the skeleton of the suits, the non armour panel parts that are usually black. I often struggle to make these parts look interesting. Andy did his matt black which i really liked and it suited his scheme really well, but id love to see something in a dark metallic or black with realistic metallic chipping or something? anyways great video as usual

Love this, thanks for putting this together for all us tau lovers. One thing I'd love to see you cover is things like glowing lenses or eyes? Get that cool sci-fi look on the tau

Great video! Side tip - use blue tac to remove the mask, stops you buggering up the paint with a cocktail stick 👍🏻

A fantastic video, Henry. I never thought I would be tempted to paint a Tau army, but here we are! I hope you all are doing great.

This is a great video, just what I'm on the Patreon for, usable, practical, achievable. Really pleased to see use of Maskol, I've got a pot but couldn't clean it off a brush so gave up! If you're keen to do mini videos, one showing painting titan armour plates entirely with an airbrush, using maskol to shield the plate whilst airbrushing the trim on, that would rock my world, and I think the world of every Princeps out there!
