Hi everyone.

For next weekend I’ll be doing an Army Painting+ Eldar video. My plan was to focus on a grav tank, looking at preshading etc.

I’ve covered a fair amount in the craftworld series so far, but we’re there any other parts of the army you had questions about how to approach?

Let me know in the comments and I’ll see what I can do.

This is literally perfect Henry. The large panels over the grav tank would Be a great help. Trying to upscale from the guardian but still having it look cohesive is a challenge I’m having. I’m not sure what colour scheme you are thinking but black I think would be a good idea (biased in starting an Ulthwe force 😅) as I imagine it would be a different approach to the preshade seen on the dark eldar raider and redemptor. Thanks for all these schemes so far it’s great.

This may be a niche question, but maybe sharing any thoughts about tying Aspect warrior schemes into the larger whole of the army? One thing I love about Eldar is from the old school second edition army book with the variety of colors and designs. However, the challenge there is how to make it appear as a cohesive whole. Maybe the answer is to lean into the diversity of schemes and go wild but would love to hear y'all's thoughts from cult of paint on this topic. Hopefully my question makes sense. As always you guys do fabulous work.

Honestly I’d love to see how you’d tackle a grav tank for the likes of ulthwe and still have it look black overall. That and the damn lightning pattern

loving the Eldar videos Henry and an army painting + will be a great addition. Im going to say anything Mymeara but i think i saw that was on the list already. As everyone as said above tips on transferring the troops schemes onto a vehicle will be a big help, in addition; how to add some realistic weathering to eldar vehicles and how to tackle the clear plastic parts. Colour scheme wise if not Mymeara i'd put a vote in for Iyanden

Would be nice if you could cover Biel-tan's thorn pattern, though that's not super necessary/maybe a bit niche. I think Ian's comment above would be the most helpful though, from my perspective: some thoughts on how to tie aspect warriors into a scheme would be invaluable and the overwhelming majority of Eldar players are going to tackle that issue no matter which Craftworld they play. Maybe a short bit about doing cloth/robes for Eldar too? Lots of characters (Warlocks/Farseers etc) wear them. Anyway, loving the flurry of videos showing the fundamentals of schemes, I don't even play Eldar and I love them! Thanks for all the brilliant content. Also, not an Eldar question - is Argel Tal still on the horizon at some point? Hate to badger just been looking forward to that one!

How would you approach units like Rangers, that have the same basic infantry features, but also have large parts covered with something else, like cloth? Mechanically, what parts are you likely to airbrush and/or mask? Compositionally, to what extent do you tie the cloth colors into the basic scheme, and how do you approach picking them? For a model like a Farseer or Warlock that might have the same colors as basic infantry but different materials or textures, do you modify your infantry approach? Love the army painting videos - thanks!

Loving the space pixies tutorials. Like the previous comments, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on aspect warriors but also on how you’d go about doing a, quick and effective, Harlequin troupe.

Corsairpaints

+1 to the Vehicles, think there'd be some great stuff to add there. Also since the Iyanden video decided my Craftworld for me, if there's a possibility to show how to paint something like a Wraithseer without it looking like a banana that would be ace.

Savage Miniatures

I'd love to see you guys paint some harlequins. Not necessarily the diamond pattern but just something interesting!

DMC

+1 for quick(er) but still interesting harlequins.

Love to see the ulthwe and biel tan on a tank. You could probably do half and half. The black I’m interested in as the scheme is quite dark and bringing some highlights to the tank would be interesting to see.

Other things to do on wraithguard heads for those of us who are not very good at freehand lol!
