Hey Everyone,

Hope you enjoyed the first part of Glutos. I really liked deep diving into one subject of the skin. This one is totally different as I go through the many small details on this model. The over lying theme though is balancing these, particularly saturation so that skin stays centre stage.

Enjoy!

Glutos Part 2 - Relentless Details

So glad you've gotten around to this means I can finally dig mine out of my "needs inspiration" pile. With that shoulder highlight are you going to further push it with the painted shadow from the staff? Seems like that was the main contribution from the reference photo.

This is looking great Andy; really shaping up. I’ve never painted pearls or seen them painted before and they’re really successful - great sort of sheen. I might be going insane, but in the ‘primed only’ photo it looks like you might have missed a mould line on the top of the wine carafe (or whatever it is). In the unlikely event that you have I thought I should mention it as you don’t want to submit a competition entry with a mould line. Obviously ignore me if I’ve gone crazy! Looking forward to the next instalment on silky cloth. Cheers!

It looks amazing Andy! So many intricate details on this model. Absolutely love, the Pac-man reflection on the sholuderpad, and those pearls are just BONKERS! <3
