Hey all!

Thanks for your patience in posting the final part. It’s been quite relentless the last few weeks!

Hope you’ve enjoyed this series, so glad I pushed myself to get this done.

Right now I’m prepping for the next series of videos…..Lizards!!!

Been an absolute privilege seeing this all come together, very well deserved. I'm looking forward to one day attending an event like this and getting to see some of these pieces in hand. Congratulations on a well deserved win 🖖🏻

Thanks very much for this Andy. Love the final piece and congrats on the result. Sorry if this is a silly question, but you mention glazing with black on the metal and the pure burnt umber on the cloak - did you do any glazes of any of the mid-tones from the highlights, or was it all just glazes of the darkest shade? If only the darkest shade, was that because of the aim to go for a dark mood of the model - i.e. would you ever do glazing with different colour mixes towards the highlights on something like a cloak?

Such a good piece. The GW photos doesn’t do it justice, being over exposed. It must be hard for all the GD entries to have some of their hard work be diminished, some what by a dodgy photo. I always love your video and the insight into the journey you go on to create these beautiful pieces. Well done bud, can’t wait for the next one. Also big respect to the people that queued for hours to see these pieces. 👏

Thanks for another great video Andy - really appreciate the focus on glazing which is an area I'm trying to work on. Very glad you aren't letting the envious idiots on the Internet get you down; it's an outstanding piece and its alleged 'simplicity' only adds to its impact in my view. Also, the minis you brought to the brush skills course were the first of yours that I've seen in real and they absolutely blew me away. They look super slick in the photos but there's so much greater a sense of vibrancy and colour and finish in the hand. Really grateful to you for sharing your GD journeys with us and getting to enjoy your success with you. Looking forward to the next project. Cheers!

I think this project has been fantastic to watch from start to finish and the figure looks amazing!! With regards to negative comments, as they say “don’t let the b……s get you down”
