Hi all,

Here's the second part of Andy's awesome Howling Banshees squad. He's created a pretty sweet looking Eldar force now. What Aspect Warriors are you hoping we get in their next update? I'm hoping the scorps.

Cheers, Henry

Howling Banshees Part 2

New patron here. To answer your question towards the end about who’s watching, I’m 2d painter, mostly portraiture and figurative painting. I’ve been going through your back catalogue and I’m super impressed. Loved the chat about the hair here, exactly how I approach hair on the canvas (although it’s often not bright red) and I suppose this also comes into that concept of the visual hierarchy. Currently building Faramir from mebsg and keen to paint him for display. I’ve actually had David Wenham sit for a portrait so I thought that this would be a cool, albeit fucking weird project. Really love your work boys, you’re creating such a great resource for those interested in this beautiful niche.

I would say, purely personally, I think a lot of youtubers do not put out the quality content that you guys do and that's a real shame. You guys put out some outstanding stuff, and it's always inspirational and always makes me want to get to my painting desk. You guys honestly deserve so much more success for the work you do and the passion you have for both this hobby and the community you've fostered. You guys are the only painting space that I watch and everything you put out always makes me learn something or think about painting in a different way. Thank you for all that you do.

Brilliant video. I've followed the scheme on my own Banshees. Would you to see you add the phoenix lord for your dark reapers. Hopefully see more aspects come out with new models soon

Warp spiders!

Very much agree with finding the right balance between ‘speed painting’ and taking too long painting army models to a display level. This is a great compromise and something i’d like to work towards. Looking forward to Farsight

I love this Eldar army painting series.

Such a shame you lost that basing footage they look very very good - that scrubland environment can be so tricky to pull off but it looks super legit.

What’s the ground base material?

Absolutely love these! Can I ask, what black do you use please and are you mixing it with water or medium? It seems to flow very nicely! Thank you
