Love the shadow work. I sometimes struggle with how deep I want shadows to contrast over the light source. I always think, based on photos, that I don’t go bright enough in the shadowed areas. Your explanation was incredibly useful on how to balance both. Excellent piece.

I love the violet light, it’s beautiful. I’m really curious what your opinions on varnishing display pieces is Andy? Have you varnished this mini or are you trying to let the subtle differences between the innate paint finishes come through?
