Hi all,

We'll be opening submissions for the MPO Online this weekend. It's our online painting comp that will run annually from now on.

We've got everything ready to go but would love it if some of you guys could test out the submission form today just to see if there's any teething issues.

The form looks great, the only thing I noticed and not sure if I've missed it but there's not a definition between the two levels. Would be good for some clarification on that.

I went through and did a test submission, photo is of my cat haha. It worked without issue. Tried with a file bigger than the limit first and it let me try load it then failed. With a correct size it gave me a green tick straight up and loaded without issue. Is there anything in particular you wanted tested?

Need some clarity on the form on what master and standard means. Apart from me typing my name wrong though was smooth

I've given it a go with a submission of one picture and two secondary pictures, so hopefully you can check at your side that it has all come through okay.

The only thing that isn't clear to me from the website is whether there are any limits on entries. Is it open to people to choose how many they want to enter (within the limits of common sense!)?

Hey lads seems to have worked just fine for me. Much like the folks have said a short description of master and standard would be nice. I assume the difference would be golden demon level painters and normal finger painters like myself.

Hey Dudes, that work well for me and I've uploaded 3 pictures without any issues. The file size of 3MB did mean that I was limited to the photo quality that was being uploaded though. If its possible to push this file size limit up to 4/5MB per photo that may help with uploading high quality photos. I do understand that this would mean an increase in the resource use you have for file/photo storage. Is there anything else you would like tested?

Seems to be working pretty well. As others said some clarity on what master vs standard means (i.e., whether master is only for folks that have won at MPO or if wins at other comps are accepted). Have you guys done any load testing of the form at all? Pretty sure you're going to get a metric shit ton of entries when this goes live live

If the form could also spit out a confirmation after submitting of the details added to the form (and/or emailed as well) that'd be excellent as well

Looks great. Yeah, I think the only thing I would be unsure about is the difference between Masters vs Standard. Aside from that, I'm excited!
