Brilliantly simplified explanation of the complex process of true healing, Becky, thank you! Bless! 😊💜✨

Wow, Rebecca, thank you so much for this explanation. I did two times a course to learn how to do emdr in my work as a psychotherapist, but I just didn't feel it; it didn't work fo me personally either. The most 'simple' way: just feeling the things we don't like to feel, sounds so much more true for me. Letting emotions flow brings a softness and a feeling of 'more oneself'. I love simplicity so much more than techniques.

Thanks for this, so interesting as I was considering EMDR. How to remember the early years of life though to heal? I don’t remember much of mine… brain protecting me I guess!

🙏🙏🙏 This video I´m going to listen to many times and re-listen in the future, both to remind myself and to pass on the healing wisdom to my son. ❤️ ❤️❤️

I followed a three-day EMDR course and then an in-depth day specifically focused on sexual violence. The techniques you have to use... My body and I went crazy, it was just too much. I really thought it was too much and I have also heard many stories about re-traumatization with EMDR. It is actually so simple, right?! But yes, feeling, really feeling, there is so much fear behind it, while it actually gives you more of yourself. This explanation is very enlightening, Becky. Thank you very much ❤️

Thank you so much for looking at this Becky, and for the fantastic explanation of how trauma separates the right and left, physical and emotional….. it’s really helpful. I work in the NHS (in mental health) and I’m so disillusioned by the ‘therapies’ on offer for people who have experienced many and multiple traumas. I want to retrain but stay in the same field of work. I’m drawn to reflexology and different massages, but everything I explore I end up feeling very unsure of, EMDR was one of them. When I worked in the wards I used to do a lot of foot/hand and head massage with patients, they loved it and always said it helped their body relax. If anyone has any suggestions of what’s helped them to heal please let me know!! Could you share more of your healing journey? Thanks again Becky 🙏🥰🥰

Susan

thank you, dearest, many a time you've brought tears to my eyes!

I would like to find out if it is actually the same with EFT. The feelings do come up, and can one instead of tapipng, sit with the feelings and be present with them? Will that help?

Brilliant! Thank you! 💚

Thanks Becky, great explanation... 💜

As an EMDR therapist, this doesn’t resonate with me at all. My clients all have to feel the original trauma, the bilateral stimulation just helps to process it as the memory is activated and then processed as it should have been all along. My clients always end in a state of acceptance and love and with a lot of insight they didn’t have before. It’s a shame you’re telling people that this therapy makes things worse, because it really doesn’t. I continuously see beautiful transformations, including healing of physical symptoms, which in my view is proof that the body and psyche have released the emotional incoherence.
