Hey Y'all!   Bear with me and this mental thought spiral.... it's in relation to the Grand Canyon Vortex question.  There's a portion of many national parks in America that are off limits - or- have mysterious missing people reports. So much so, there is a following of these cases - spearheaded by a former police officer who is now an investigator, writer, and whistleblower on these phenomena. His name is David Paulides. He started the "Missing 411" (he's got a website and youtube movie about this. google missing 411) mapping out these mysterious disappearances, primarily in National Parks and wildlands (places like Yosemite),  the Rocky Mountain Region (Montana), and Pacific Northwest Region (Oregon, Washington), often with odd details like-  missing items (clothing left behind) or bizarre circumstances (he claims there are related features in these cases such as vortexes/portals and bigfoot/sasquatch/cryptozoology ) . I wonder if these things are related???? I can see how the Grand Canyon being a vortex it would fit into this guys body of work... it's all bizarre and again, I have 42 more questions about the subject. ;)

Hi Erin, sounds really interesting. Wouldn't it be great if there was a map with all of the portals marked on it so unsuspecting hikers etc. didn't walk through a portal (and probably die)! I'm now wondering if the UK has any?? If there are, it's probably on Ministry of Defence land I guess.
