Initiating Challenge 2: Insight.

Starting simulation. Your true body will be safeguarded within the Administrator’s Terrace during the challenge.

The setting for the challenge has been randomly generated.

Objective: Comprehend the nature of the object within the simulation. Duration: 1 day (24 hours).

“Well, this is rather novel, if nothing else,” Miranda said as she stood beside Jake within the simulated world of the Insight challenge.

The two of them were standing on a floating platform with furniture on it, floating in the middle of space. It was an entirely empty world, save for a single star-like object in the distance that radiated energy and concepts toward them, bathing the atmosphere in its mana.

“Seems simple enough,” Jake nodded. “Just gotta test who can glean the most insights from that big glop of magic.”

“Doesn’t appear very balanced to me. What if one party has existing insight into whatever concepts are chosen?” Miranda questioned.

“Do you have any existing insight into whatever that thing is? Because I don’t, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the system purposefully selected something neither party had encountered before,” Jake shrugged. “In my opinion, this is by far the best kind of challenge.”

“Because it massively favors having a high Perception stat?” Miranda asked with a deadpan expression.

“It does? Damn, hadn’t realized,” Jake answered with a chuckle. “Oh well, may as well enjoy ourselves and figure out what this thing is all about.”

“Sure, maybe there are benefits to be gained,” Miranda agreed as the two of them sat down on the provided furniture and got to work.

Jake did take a moment to reflect on the nature of these simulations before he got started, though. He found it incredibly odd that he was acutely aware he was in a simulation, yet felt absolutely no tangible connection to his real body. Usually, when Jake found his consciousness transported elsewhere, he could still feel the immediate surroundings of his physical body, courtesy of Sphere, but within this simulation, he couldn’t at all.

In some ways, it reminded him of the time he wandered to the Gate of Enlightenment for the first time. There was a far greater degree of separation, and Jake believed that the reason he “lost” his connection with his body was that even his Truesoul was coming along on the journey of consciousness.

This raised whether these simulations transported his Truesoul into them, but he ultimately concluded that he had no way to know or find out. For all he knew, his current self within the simulated world was just a fully “real” clone that would replace his actual self once he returned to his physical body once more. Something he also wasn’t sure would make sense, as Jake felt like he would be able to detect that somehow with his Bloodline. Not that the system couldn’t also block him from realizing with his Bloodline, being omnipotent and all. Really, the more Jake thought about the nature of these simulations, the more Jake got a headache and resolved himself to not try to uncover any deeper secrets for now.

Instead, he shifted his focus to comprehending the concepts of the massive floating orb of energy. Miranda also seemed hard at work, but, truthfully, Jake saw no world in which he could lose a competition like this as he closed his eyes and reached out with his senses towards the environment.

Time passed quickly as Jake slowly gained a pretty solid understanding of the concepts, including the fact that this was truly just an artificial test. It was difficult to explain, but these concepts didn’t feel real at all. As if they relied on fundamental laws that didn’t exist in the actual multiverse, but could only exist in a test environment like this.

That sadly also meant that there was nothing to be gained from this challenge. Not besides improving one’s ability to comprehend concepts, that is, but if Jake wanted to practice that, the Gate of Enlightenment was infinitely superior.

When the day of the Challenge was up, the massive orb disappeared from the simulated realm, and a second later, a system notification popped up in front of Jake and Miranda.

Evaluating the insights of participants.

Congratulations on winning the Challenge. You have gained 1 vote.

Votes available: 3

In the next moment, they were back at the Seat of the Exalted Prima, where Miranda let out a sigh. “Really, not a fair competition. I actually tried, you know?”

“So did I. For the most part, anyway,” Jake smiled. “Not that you missed anything.”

“Yeah, the concepts displayed weren’t anything that could ever lead to real-world applications,” Miranda sighed. “Now go find your next victim for the other Challenges.”

“Nah, I’m good,” Jake said, surprising the witch a little.

“You don’t wanna try the others?” she asked skeptically.

“Honestly? Not really,” Jake shook his head. “The simulations are all very simplistic, and I don’t see anything to be gained from them. Besides votes, but I don’t care to gather more of those either.”

“Yet you had to challenge me so I’m out of votes?” Miranda looked at him admonishingly.

“It’s fine, here, take it back,” Jake said as he mentally attempted to transfer a vote back to Miranda. It ended up being effortless as a system message popped up telling him he’d given her a single vote.

“I wouldn’t recommend giving out votes... but thanks,” Miranda said with a smile before turning to Kindroth, who had been following their conversation with interest. “How about the two of us do a little Challenge? Of the Social variety.”

“I could be convinced,” Kindroth smiled and nodded.

Throughout the room, Jake also saw several other Challenges taking place. It wasn’t hard to see who was doing a Challenge, as they just stared blankly into thin air or had their eyes closed, even if the Challenges only lasted a few minutes at most. Even Miranda and Jake’s, which had taken a day within the simulation, had only been around a minute in the real world.

Jake didn’t bother doing any more Challenges as he really didn’t see the benefit of doing so. He already believed he had an acceptable grasp of the nature of these simulations, and while it could be fun to fight a few of the people present, there weren’t really any he found worth fighting. William was the second-strongest person in the room, with the only close competitor being Miranda, but that was only when she had time to set up and do her weird witch magic.

There technically was also Kindroth, but that guy was specialized in running away and not actually fighting, so Jake had no desire to waste his time with the elf. Instead, Jake decided to spend the day meditating, leaving all the social work to Miranda. All he had to do was sit there and look a bit menacing so no one would get any funny ideas.

It was a bit unfortunate that Jake was surrounded by other people, as that made doing proper alchemy annoying, seeing as others didn’t tend to appreciate being poisoned by toxic fumes. That didn’t mean he couldn’t do any alchemy, though, as Jake decided to show off a little in front of the crowd while also stocking up on potions a little.

Moving a bit away from the crowd, Jake caught a lot of attention as everyone was keeping an eye on what the terrifying Chosen of the Malefic Viper was doing. Not that he minded, as the more people saw his little alchemy session, the better.

Once isolated, Jake held up his hand as he called forth his Supreme Alchemical Flame, not trying to hide what it was in the slightest. Through his sphere, he took in all the reactions, and it was instantly easy to spot the two other alchemists in the crowd as they immediately recognized the Supreme Soulflame for what it was.

Others also slowly began to realize that the flame wasn’t simple, and fortunately, the few alchemists seemed glad to share their insights, meaning that, shortly, most people present knew what Jake was doing.

That should hopefully only make it more impressive, as Jake used the Arcane Soulflame as a cauldron to start crafting some potions for his own use. He didn’t make a large cauldron, but purposefully kept it at a medium level that still produced roughly five times more potions than a regular cauldron, still making it an impressive feat. He could have gone bigger, but he still only had a day to craft, and the bigger the cauldron, the longer the brewing process, so he held back.

Miranda was also done with her Challenge against Kindroth and gave Jake an approving look, making Jake feel more reassured as he started his crafting session. A few people looked on while others continued experimenting with Challenges, but the two alchemists present seemed glued to Jake, enthusiastically observing his crafting, despite likely not being able to get anything out of it.

Like so, hours quickly passed as this system event definitely didn’t proceed as the system had probably intended. After only a couple of hours, most had also stopped bothering with Challenges, and those who wanted to do Challenges but ran out of votes simply had one transferred to them by those with excess.

Towards the end, everyone ended up with one vote besides Jake and William, with Jake having two and William having zero. Jake did offer to give William back his vote, but the metal mage didn’t want it, and Jake wasn’t about to argue about giving someone back their own vote.

A day was a relatively short time, and soon enough, one had passed, and it was time to finally stop sitting around doing nothing as the system popped up in front of them all.

The first voting round of the Chief Administrator Selection will now begin. A Chief Administrator of the Milky Way Galaxy Seat of the Exalted Prima is successfully selected if a single Administrator gets more than 50% of the total votes. Voting is anonymous.

Voting will last thirty (30) minutes. All votes not designated during this time will be considered abstains and still count toward the total number of votes.

Votes remaining: 1

Chief Administrator Candidates:

Jake saw the long list of names under Chief Administrator Candidates, which surprisingly didn’t include all of them. William’s name was missing, but so were about a hundred others compared to what Jake would have expected. Were these perhaps the people who genuinely had no interest in this promotion?

Most – hopefully all – those present knew they wouldn’t be selected and didn’t dare compete either, but if everyone else suddenly reneged on their claim, the majority were still willing to “step up” and take the position. He couldn’t be sure, but he assumed the missing names were those who wouldn’t step up even if they were forced to.

Jake didn’t spend long selecting himself and noting, and from the looks of it, most people were quick on the trigger. A couple of minutes passed, which should really have been enough for everyone to finish voting, yet nothing happened.

Well, I guess it doesn’t say voting will end once everyone has voted, Jake noted as he re-read the system message. So it was entirely possible they simply had to wait half an hour before getting the result. That, or someone refused to vote, which wouldn’t be that surprising either.

There were bound to be people who didn’t like Jake yet didn’t dare speak up about it. He couldn’t blame them either, as Jake hadn’t done much to endear himself to the World Leaders of the galaxy, nor did he care to. Honestly, if a few wanted to protest by abstaining from voting for him, so be it. As long as it wasn’t more than half of those present who did so, things should work out fine.

After his alchemy, Jake had joined Miranda and the others towards the middle of the crowd, and seeing as they were all just waiting anyway, Jake turned toward Kindroth.

“Now, is this where you drop the mask and reveal your grand plan to take over the Seat of the Exalted Prima by accumulating votes in secret?” Jake asked in a joking manner, though he made sure his gaze wasn’t purely jest. Never could be too careful with these Holy Church-adjacent people.

Kindroth was definitely taken by surprise as he threw a frightened look Jake’s way. “I’m not bold enough to try anything like that.”

“You never know,” Jake shrugged. “I would have respected the attempt. Killed you, sure, but I’d have shown at least a tiny bit of respect.”

“If I may speak frankly,” Kindroth said, definitely taking this a lot more seriously than Jake. “There is no evidence that any singular galaxy’s Seat of the Exalted Prima is superior to another, and there are many galaxies and many Seats. Throwing away my own life and entirely severing ties with you, the Order, and all those who support you, couldn’t possibly be worth a single galaxy’s Seat of the Exalted Prima.”

“Even if claiming that Seat also entails excluding me from any future competitions amongst Chief Administrators?” Jake asked, leaning forward

“Even then, it wouldn’t be worth it,” Kindroth sighed and shook his head. “Not like excluding you would in any way guarantee success for any other faction. All it would do is remove one of many favorites, and to remain candid, I’m not sure you’re the biggest favorite in this event. We don’t know if everything will be decided through combat, and even if it is, no one can ever guarantee success.”

Jake met the elf’s gaze as he slowly nodded. “We’ll see. Though I can say that I’m starting to look forward to the next stage of this event.”

Hopefully, it wouldn’t be as relaxed as this one, though, because it really wasn’t fun doing a system event where the conclusion was already known before it began. Actually, no, worse than that. There weren’t even any funny surprises or an interesting journey to reach the conclusion. Just a lot of waiting around and system mechanics that no one really had to interact with.

He’d nearly hoped that Kindroth would try something just to make the event more interesting, but Jake was also happy the elf didn’t seem to have any plans like that. He had proven a valuable asset so far, and Miranda spoke of competency, so it would suck having to kill the guy for his betrayal.

“If I may add something,” Miranda joined the conversation. “I feel like I would have to quit my current position if I had allowed Kindroth to influence more than half of the people present, not only to vote for him but also to perfectly hide their intentions to do so. It would be impressive, sure, but also a massive failure on my end.”

“Guess we’ll find out if I’m truly a mastermind schemer or not shortly,” Kindroth chuckled, trying to lighten the mood a little. Jake also flashed him another smile that no one could see due to him wearing a mask, but hey, it was the thought that counted.

The timer soon came to an end, and as the votes were counted, a single person had indeed gained more than half of the total votes to become the Chief Administrator of the Milky Way Galaxy.

In an utterly shocking turn of events, the winner turned out to be...

Damn you are quick. I got the notification 3 seconds ago lol

Tftc omg nail bitting... 💅 who's it gunna be ???

Tiarnaria

Why even cliffhanger even this, if it turns out not to be Jake I'll eat an entire fucking raw onion

UNKNOWN

Has Jake upgraded his other cauldron yet?

Alexikon

Is that... the legendary... Cliffhanger?

Chance Haggerty

You better record that shit and post the link to a video!

Fdrugc

Tftc

no

Can’t be this easy the foreshadowing that an unknown dragon I think was gonna be involved in this event

RoCkK3Y

Sylphie (The Bestest Bird) triumphs over man with stinky pot!

Fdrugc

So you were there all along but using your super stelthy windy wind you hid from Jake and convinced people to give you the votes in exchange for letting people scratch you?

Elena

Cliffhanger like this is just mean :').

Fucking Shracc

Turns out it's Jacob. Most people got confused and the system listed them alphabetically. And c is before k.

P A J

It turns out to be Smorgles the Goblin who was secretly plotting in theshadows, then he shoots Jake in the head and smokes a cigarette before saying "This truly was a primal hunter" and the credits roll

Josie

Ah.. I wouldn't tease our Malefic Author like that as raw onions are disgusting lol

Xander

TFTC :) Just so you know I offered suggestions for Mondays chapter but I didnt see the chapter until very late so you might not have noticed the comment. Suggested edits: " him of the time he wandered to the Gate of Enlightenment for the first time." redundant phrasing. Should jsut be "reminded him of the first time he wandered to the Gate of Enlightenment." "will be considered *abstains* and still" should be "abstentions" "selecting himself and *noting*, *and* from the looks of it, most people were ** quick on the trigger" should be "voting" i think otherwise you need to drop the "and" and add an "also" where indicated. "as he threw a *frightening* look Jake’s way" should be "frightened"

Ken Lowther

Thanks for the chapter on this Awesome story you are telling us and of course I already have book 15. Still waiting on Travis to finish the audible tho. 😁

SetherAedekae

Bro is throwing a massive flag at the universe

Staudi

Tyftc.. weird cliffhanger though this time around ^^

Biggy smalls

Feels like this whole system event's a bit redundant? It probably would have been more interesting focusing on other POV's in other Galaxies?

UNKNOWN

No your name is Yahyo Malikov silly.

Yahyo Malikov

Ohh that's was a typo. I. AM. A. SPED

Siethrobo

It's a fake cliffhanger, we all know the next line

Lemonsqueezy

If it isn't Jake, my best guess is that it is Miranda. It makes some sense that the others would vote for her. As stated many people do not like Jake and do not perceive him as a good leader when it comes to politics and running an empire. He is more of an enforcer This might also negate Jake going on a rampage for the people who betrayed him, because through Miranda, Jake would still control the seat. We also know that Jake would pawn it all off on her anyway. However, I could see Miranda immediately relinquishing the seat to Jake because of how their relationship works. Miranda knows that Jake should be the face and name of control, and would inevitably run it anyway.

Devon Pucel

Where does book 15 end and book 16 start on patreon?

Bard RiCharan

Welp if it's not someone he likes they are dead 😂

GenZVall

The winner is the one, and only, TOM!!!

Lemonsqueezy

I am pretty sure he hasn't upgraded any of his gear or items since he made it to C-Grade. The only thing I have read about him doing anything like that is with Arnold with his dagger.

Lemonsqueezy

Zog, I have never seen you leave us on a cliffhanger like this. You did it to purposefully be an ass to us lol. This reminds me of DBZ cliffhangers.

Steven L

Its probably someone from holy church. A hidding agent.

Lemonsqueezy

She is going to come into light when this event moves into phase 3 when all the Galaxies leaders compete.

Josie

This would be an excellent time for the mystery faction to have infiltrated the Seat and cast hundreds of votes for some patsy, forcing Jake to hunt down this Chief Admin within the 93rd Universe and walking into some trap where the Viper cannot reach him At least that's what I would do if I were a desperate mystery faction 🤔

Jeryd Greer

We might get those in the next chapter. But Zog seems to just want to filter past this first step. I’m expecting a quest chain for Chief administrators to reach the next comp.

djthomp

Well now, that was less of a freeform tournament arc that I was expecting. Gonna be messy if someone else wins courtesy of that anonymous voting wrinkle. Big mistake on Jake's part if that happens to have just fucked around and not collected the votes when he had the opportunity to get half of them.

Sadevare Johnson

I hate you because there are actually more choices than 1. But also tyftc. (:

djthomp

Final chapter of 15 is Event Horizon, which seems like a sensible enough place to split the Pantheon of Life visit.

Devon Pucel

Wow, seems like a lifetime ago

BumAssBumAss

I could see the winner being Miranda because she actually does leadership stuff and is technically a quiet rebellion if they really hated Jake. Though I still think it's Jake. So many times he has been pushed into leadership positions against his own will.

Sammot

Miranda probably

Biggy smalls

He could have summed up what happened in the milky ways system event in a paragraph. How there was nobody strong enough left to oppose him and moved onto SS's POV in another galaxy. Or Carmen, Sylphie, etc. It would have been much more interesting/entertaining watching earth's other elites pit their wills against the strongest in other Galaxies than this has been?

Fyrtue

Not that I recall

Rewdan

I’m going with William due to his karma magic or Zogarth is pranking us and it’s Jake.

Rewdan

William he used his Karma magic, no way Zogarth would prank us like this no, absolutely not. 😏

Corvid

Nah, Tom is one of the hidden gods, a secret 13th primordial and reincarnation of the second sage.

Rewdan

We all know it’s either William or Tom

Rewdan

I’d risk death to vote for Tom

GenZVall

That would mean he let Sandy eat him on purpose for funsies. I love it.

Aironfaar

That's obviously what's going to happen for the rest of the week to unnecessarily draw this silly cliffhanger out until next Monday.

Rewdan

Good view, could it be William he could have used his karma magic to influence people to vote for him

UNKNOWN

Find out on the next episode of Primal Hunter Z!

Jana

That Challenge didn’t go the way I initially expected. I fully expected Jake to try and eat whatever ended up infront of him and analyse it with his upgraded stomach - and Miranda staring at him with a „There has to be a rule against this“- Look.

Ra

I don't know who you are or what you want. But if you don't keep up your promise, I will find you; probably befriend you; and I will make you eat a raw onion.

Secret Weapons

Did you not read the part where William wasn't even a choice in the vote?

definitelynotbrjenness

nope, nor armor, nor gloves, nor picked up b grade alchemy supplies, nor got his real Katar.

Secret Weapons

It literally says right in the chapter that William's name wasn't even an option on the list of people to vote for?

Tiarnaria

Look I will do it, there will be no video as I'm not comfortable showing my face but I'll take a picture of every single bite I take of that damn disgusting thing

definitelynotbrjenness

now you done it. poor kindroth. he had no idea miranda had plotted to get him killed.

Secret Weapons

Whoever the patsy was, they'd have to be IN that room, as all Candidates are. So he wouldn't have to hunt very far. Also, if there's one thing that won't ever be messed with... its a System event. Highly doubt sneaking in is even possible.

zran

Or perhaps is just zog pulling our tails just for the sake of having some kind of clifhanger

ABTelford

Seriously? Ending like that? I hope in the book the chapter ends one sentence earlier. 😉

zran

Agree, it could be jake, just zog pulling our non existent tails for the sake of a cliffhanger

Secret Weapons

He massively upgraded his bow during the Pantheon of Life arc, and his mask changed slightly as well, but other than that... he hasn't.... and it seems like he won't ever need to now with his new skill bridging the gap to the stat cap.

Secret Weapons

William wasn't a choice in the list of people to vote for, can't be him.

NSaaby

Zogart!!!!!!!!! Not the clif off doom

Rai

At least it's not Friday yet

Josie

Yes. They could have become Admins the same way William became an Admin. Then they all vote for their 1 patsy. And since true death isn't possible during this Event, Jake will have to hunt the patsy once the Chief Admin Event ends

Loststar7

Thanks for the chapter and I’m glad it’s a Wednesday. Probably a troll cliffhanger but there’s always that chance….

Anders Jensen

love the sarcasm at the end :D "...None other than Jake"

definitelynotbrjenness

the day I've dreamed of. I finally have zogarth in a corner he can't escape from. either my prediction comes true or we get a fun event. so with no further ado, I formally predict...jake is the winner. I will be preparing my "I called it speech" if anybody needs me

Christophe H.

Two choice : Jakes and thats a conclusion, or not Jake and there is a slaughter

Di Yang

я читаю с Казахстана, и мне очень нравится данная новелла, я полностью в нее погружен. спасибо автору

Darth_Bane

Clearly the winner will be Sylphie

Noah Mclelland

I imagined the item was something akin to the sun thats far away and its shooting concepts out.

InfernoDroid

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if the next chapter is only a short paragraph were Jake wins (it would be strange narratively for this whole event, that we've been working towards for a few books now, to end for Jake before the semi-finals. remember, there's still a competition for the overall control of the wonder.) And for the next few chapters to be the other members of the cast actually having to win in their galaxies. You know, give them the spotlight to shine, but honestly, I might just like the supporting cast more than most people

Noah Mclelland

I wonder how the system quantifies the insights. It mentioned multiple times theres no "right" way to comprehend concepts, each comprehension is different and not necessarily better or worse.

definitelynotbrjenness

I speak fluent Australian and will translate: Oy, you ducking can't. pull the fucking shrimp off the fucking barbie. Matilda ain't fucking hopping. Just tell us who the fucking winner was. I'm a going to eat me a vegamite sandwich.

InfernoDroid

Zog likes to take his time tbh. I think this chapter was a controlled chill way to show the setup while the next week or two will bee the other povs without needing to explain the setup

InfernoDroid

At times I've found the series readsa lot better when you read it in big chunks. I once took a year off and found the catching up experience to honestly be more enjoyable than reading daily just due to being able to ignore cliffhangers. I would love to read a version of the series that had an editor come through and cut out all the the cliffhangers and things that work for a daily upload that just feel awkward when read as a book

Di Yang

Thanks for the translation, I understood everything.

InfernoDroid

People saying is William didn't pay attention very well to when Jake voted

definitelynotbrjenness

my bad. I thought the letters were upside down, but I now see they are backwards.

Clint

Sounds fun. Sword Saint, Carmen, and Vesperia fighting hundreds of battles on the third day of selection…

definitelynotbrjenness

I never noticed the cliffhangers until I came here. I bet this chapter will feel like a short summary in book format.

Clint

TL;DR: Very big fan from Kazakhstan.

Di Yang

Wow, this is cool. Thank you very much.

Anthony

Watch it be Miranda, lol

Di Yang

я не австралиец, я говорю только по русски. я перевожу данную новеллу

Clint

That just means he doesn’t need to focus on stats when he upgrades. His gear could be even more overpowered if it doesn’t have to give stats and can just give big effects, passive or otherwise.

C0bra$

Thank u for the story

Tomer Yud

yea yea a cliff lol

Matt

Welp, only 2 ways this plays out. Jake wins, or he doesn't. I think the Jake doesn't win option would be more interesting, because of all the possible implications.

tigerfishie

Tyftc! Still thrilled to know Miranda and Kindroth are spending time together 😌

Kris Tuchel

Everyone thinks he is a monster, but we do have those other gods playing games

Sceney K

Zogarth, you said Jake had 2 votes but in the system notification is said votes remaining: 1, might consider fixing it to 2

Crimson Ender

On the one hand, I knew it was coming. On the other, I still hate it. But tyftc regardless.

McKenzie

Wouldn't it be interesting if the entire 24 hour vote period and conclusion was actually a simulation that Jake was unable to detect this time? After the calculation of voting Jake was provided 2 simulated paths of reactions.

Darklord3875

Well if we wanted an upset I could see the other world leaders voting Miranda just to make things interesting.

Gracie

tftc ⛰️🧗

Andrew Woodard

Probably speed of comprehension or something to that effect. Miranda is still a fairly fresh B-grade and should only just be getting those insights, meanwhile Jake is broken and gets to read insights at something closer to an A grade level.

Cookie in the jar

And they Winner is ... The sweetest of all birds

Jeryd Greer

He only voted with one of his votes.

Hayden Leech

It would be hilarious if Sylphie won despite not even being there

Crysus

Most blatant cliffhanger ever!

Rob Lyon

Why is that?

Rob Lyon

If I'm not mistaken though they can't fight in the seat so he would have to wait till the event was over and hunt them down and the outside universe

Daryl

Zog is clearly addicted to cliff hangers. He really just can't help himself at this point. I'd suggest an intervention but I'm not sure it would work.

Vega

With all the jokes about Sylphie, I’m kinda hoping that she or Vesperia actually will be a chief administrator of one of the galaxies. I mean, beasts get to be Chief Administrators right?

Willd

I’ll remember this when it’s Sylphie

KollegvomMirgan

Guess it'll take 1 or 2 chapters to see the sword saint etc. Get elected

Noah Mclelland

As an Australian i dont take offence.

John Durrett

Its Miranda. Sure Jake is strong, but they need an Administrator - which is not Jake. Everyone has seen how Miranda has handled affairs and grown. I'd vote her for top seat as well. Jake can still be the guard dog because that's all he's been from the start.

definitelynotbrjenness

A while back I left a RR review pretending to be a member of cliffhangers anonymous that was concerned that I hadn't seen Zoggy in any meetings lately.

Clint

I will be shocked if Vesperia isn’t chief administrator of a galaxy. She’s literally the ranking member of one of the peak factions in the multiverse. They’ll definitely have set her up in a galaxy where the ectognomorphs are prevalent. I’m more interested to see if Noboru can pull off a win by challenging people to fights in a galaxy where there’s no winner of the first two votes. I can’t remember — Is Sylphie even a candidate somewhere? It doesn’t seem like Stormild’s kind of event.

Deborah

It would be awesome if it was sim-jake

ChefBoiRD

Oh, Zogarth that is a dirty cliff hanger…

Arieh Sochaczevski

Thanks for the chapter! I’d have voted for Miranda.

CT

We all know it will be Neil as Jake troll vote for him...

definitelynotbrjenness

i'm still not certain how the beast side of things is going. I assumed Stormild has a planet controlled by elementals somewhere. or maybe a faction of mages that specialize in elemental magic were willing to take the bestest bird knowing no one native could win their galaxy. I really doubt there are many galaxies on the enlightened or beast side that silphie couldn't dominate.

definitelynotbrjenness

it would be funny if Jake only casting one vote was what delayed it.

Rid

Frightening-> frightened

Daniel

Jake is not the administrator, Villy is going to be surprised.

UNKNOWN

Ah, that explains it.

UNKNOWN

I don't know what you said and am currently too lazy to use Google translate

JW Saxby

😂😂 Nice one Zog 👍🏼 Tftc 🍻

Dylan Hilliard

That would be surprising. I'm here for it.

granndfunk

You should end the book here.

Clint

Could definitely win all the fights, but the way this is set up Sylphie (and Sword Saint) could fail if someone else wins a majority in the first two days, when their challenges are optimal. But then Aeon and Stormild would want to point them towards galaxies that don’t have a clear leader, I’d guess. 🤷‍♂️

Clint

Would be fun — especially if it was a “test” to see how each candidate would deal with losing.

Foot of Doom

Spoiler: Zog is Ell Cheeto. Just messing with my emotions. Bloodline Patriarch of Have a Fucking Cliff. Borderline Transcendent. Write fantastic stories BUT every chapter is cliffhanger. Emperyean steps lead….yeah straight off a cliff you can hang from. Race: True Bastard. Tftc

Aldrasak

Blud how can I join the discord

definitelynotbrjenness

Denmark needs to leap forward. My morning poop is sooooo boring now.

UNKNOWN

By joining the discord.

RehabProject

EDIT: Where the system comes back to ask for votes for the chief administrator it says Jake has 1 Vote Remaining, he has 2 Votes as he has Williams. Also: Jake didn’t spend long selecting himself and noting/ should be voting.

Elijah Belfer

We all know Jake would throw his votes to some random and then troll them over it cmon

DirePants

lol really? C’mon now. The winner is going to be as surprising as North Korea 😂

Alex

Drumroll.... Miranda xD

ABTelford

Sorry but…am I the only one bored? I feel like this is a stepping stone between interesting stuff.

Parker Bond

Miranda would be interesting
