Hey, I'm realizing that it would be crazy to try and release a comic this month. I came down with shingles a few days ago, and it's still tolerable... but I'm in for a really rough 1-2 weeks, and that's if things go well. For the first time ever, I'm going to hit that big pause button!

Why don't you run a poll to see if people are still willing to pay so that you can continue to have an income? It's up to you, but if the community is willing and you can maintain a stable income while you're ill, why not consider it? There's plenty of people out there willing to consider it a form of mutual aid.

That's nice of you to say, but I don't want to do that unless I have to. If I'm ever really struggling, then I'll play that card, but I'm doing okay for the time being. Missing out on one month won't kill me.
