I think the concept of this was so genius. Like his album Hope On The Street Vol. 1 is the OST for this documentary and each song was written specifically for a specific genre of dance. And then the theme of that song lyrically, matches the theme of the episode. So j-hope does Locking (the dance style) in Seoul to his song Lock/Unlock and talks about how he has to live his life in that contradictory place of being locked up but also so in view of the public (unlocked). It's such a cool, multi-layered project. And then the Neuron episode also has so much meaning. Neuron is the name of the Dance Crew he started with. And obviously, neurons are the memory center of the brain and are constantly firing and moving and making connections between the things we interact with in our mind. And the lyrics of Neuron simultaneously honor his roots (his memories with his team Neuron) while also talking about movement and the way dance connects the world. Seriously, this project is SO GENIUS.
