I danced from the age of 2, competitively from 10 until 18 in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary/lyrical and taught tap and hip-hop some during college. We also performed shows around the country and were regulars as the Pistons' halftime show entertainment. Generally, I avoid watching dance competition shows because my eye always notices when there's a mistake or a shift that isn't supposed to be there and it takes me right out of the enjoyment of the dance. I've never had that with BTS Dance Line and thoroughly enjoy watching them dance. What I got from Hobi's statement about popping was that after this session with Gucchon, what he always knew as popping was not the real thing because it wasn't that level of isolation that he learned and now that he knows the real thing. So, he wasn't popping before. I'm excited to see you watch this Tour du Dance, especially as a dancer (choreographed, too!) because I loved watching this show and you're so excited, too!💜
