eager to hear this. i've been reading Sean's stuff since i stumbled onto his blog probably around 2003, looking for Grant Morrison material.

Heh, really good & interesting ep. and it's funny that Bryan's take on Neurosis is exactly the opposite of the Bay Area where pretty much everyone loves 'em. Though granted last time I saw them (and I had seen them three times before and once oddly enough with GWAR) in 2012 they were waaay too dragged out and boring. Also didn't help there was nowhere to sit and they were the 3rd band on the bill. I've gone back & forth with Eyehategod. Only saw 'em once with crustoiod punk band, Chaos UK but EHG influenced WAY too many cruddy sludge metal bands which the Bay Area had WAY too many, college radio play way too much of it and so on. Sleep is still good to me tho'. I gotta lotta stories about 'em too if yr. interested.

My thoughts on all those bands is pretty much the opposite of Bryan's, which was not unexpected. Anyway good episode, i've been listening with pleasure to "All Leather Must Be Boiled" for a bit now and it was good to hear Sean on your show.

Sean, i'm sure you're bombarded by this all the time, but here goes anyway...if you get the time available watch Comrade Detective.

Andrew

So many people are sleeping on the 3 albums that came out after Deftones' self-titled (yeah, the last one wasn't great). There is an argument to be made that Diamond Eyes is better than White Pony.
