High Five Friday 9/27/19 (Patreon)

There is not going to be a call-in show this Sunday.

It's because we have an important business meeting in Cincinnati. The next call-in show will be ABCD (anyone but cis dudes) and be going down on October 6th. We are going to be in Texas in just a few weeks! Austin is filling up quickly and the Houston crossover with PWR will be legendary. Dallas and Oklahoma City, we need y'all to spread the word! send some tweets, share the facebook events.

Let's get started with five things I enjoyed this week.

• Minion Death Cult - Cop Rap - This week Alexander and Tony got under the skin of the blue lives matter rap, no, hip-hop community. Forensic is the ill "young" cop rapper who can't stop bragging about his gang and the thiings they get away with. Lots of back the blue memes in these rhymes as well. It's the Ben Shaprio school of rap where everything must be a literal rhyme. It's a really fun listen and closing with Dead Prez was a boomshakalaka moment.

• Transport Drugs On A Bicycle/Electric Scooter - The chances of getting pulled over are almost zero. It takes away all the jitters and most of the risk.

• Running Trainer App - As I've mentioned before on the show, my initial attempt at running resulted in an injury. I did some physical therapy and got some good advice (don't add more than 10% a week in distance) but I've found this app has helped me to stick with it more. It did take me 12 weeks to do the 8 weeks to 5k program but the exercises are varied and help with achieving longer distances. They even have a couch to 1-mile program for those of you who don't know where to start. I am working on my 10k right now and doing shorter tempo drills which I hope will build my stamina so I can make it through the Great Saunter in May.

• Kirby All Star Allies - The best kid game I have fouund. They can help you with little risk and it's easy to learn. Also when adutls assist you can kick a lot more ass. It's a game that works for all skill levels. Plays a little like Super Smash Bros combat and there are a lot of levels to beat. Highly recommended if you got little ones you play with.

• Sharon Van Etten - Jupiter 4 - I like that artists still put out cool videos. This one is great for zoning out when you need a break. I've played her on the show before but if you still don't know about Sharon Van Etten I'd jump online and give her a listen. Really great lyrical content and lots of emotional shit that just works well. For people who like #HauntingVocals #SexyVibes #CountryGirlShit #LovingSoMuchItHurts
