What I love the most about the new opening is when the beat drops its a POV shot of what another team experiences when facing Karasuno. You can first hand see the speed in their attacks which is pretty cool to me. Also, I mentioned in one of my patron requests way back that the same composer that did My Hero also worked on Haikyuu, so that's why you probably hear the similarities in the OST. Imo, Haikyuu looks the best in season 3, but regardless, in season 2 you can clearly see the production went up like in rallies. The animation and choreography is on another level and I can personally feel the weight behind some of their actions in said rallies. Season 2 is where I truly fell in love with Haikyuu so I hope u enjoy yourself this season 👌👌👌
