Lmao bro glazing Lev's sister like how the show glazes Kiyoko. Also, movie was peak! Legit made me cry, which I've never done while watching Haikyuu. Although I've teared up during a couple moments, this movie made me feel some of the most emotions I've ever felt while watching. I do have a couple criticisms that we can get into once you've watched it, but overall, amazing! Also, no spoilers, but we got another film after that one, we just don't have much info yet about its release date and stuff.

Not saying that they’re somehow good or not scummy but they really took any kind of nuance nohebi had and just made them unlikeable and bad. I get it because it’s easier to do it this way and at the end of the day they do be “cheating,” but they left a lot out of that too, which I’ve been saying a lot.

Even though not all was included, I’m glad they took the time to bring us back to these characters and give us a little more with them. There was another OVA between seasons 1 and 2 that introduced Lev, basically his own whole episode to get to know him before he meets our team. I hate when they put important characters and events in OVAs like that and this because how would you know you have to watch that. And if you miss it then you’re just lacking a lot of information and it’s just unfortunate that they have to pick and choose how things get shown a lot.

Also a little maybe world building (I don’t have a better word for it rn I’m cooked) with that clip before the outro. We know that fukurodani is a very high level team, and definitely the strongest team Karasuno has gone against. It’s also been mentioned that Itachiyama is the best school in the country, and we see them beating fukurodani to take the first place spot in the Tokyo qualifiers. The three teams from Tokyo going to nationals are Itachiyama, Fukurodani, and Nekoma in that order, and those are three exciting teams to expect at nationals. Can’t wait to get into season 4, might be my favorite. This story builds on itself so well.
