They framed it as a bad thing to turn it on its head and be a good thing. Kageyamas conflict is listening to either Oikawa’s or atsumu’s advice since they’re kinda saying the opposite things. Oikawa was talking about setting that caters to the hitters, and atsumu was talking about setting that pushes your hitters. Kageyama is viewing those as two extremes when the ideal is a mixture of both. Those are two important things to keep in mind but both players he got advice from do both of these things so it’s an idea to keep in mind but not follow to the letter. It’s 5 am so forgive my lack of clarity rn.

We really acting like this whole show isn’t about that sexual tension between Hinata and Kageyama. Also I didn’t forget about that walls comment from last episode. As someone who’s been in this community for a long time I promise you the walls comment was aaaall you.

Karasuno is figuring shit out and whatnot but at the end of the day we’ve lost three sets to Date Tech now. Like we’re focusing on character growth atm but we’re kinda getting stomped rn. Blocking is already incredibly strong as a tool, and having good servers compliments it really well. They’ve mentioned it before but serve and block is the second most ideal play after a service ace, you take away the opponents ability to ever effectively play the game. Date tech is strengthening their strengths a lot, but they still have a couple things to work out as you see with aone’s missed serve at the end. The individuals don’t all stand out as much but the system they run is extremely effective. Having star players is cool and flashy and can get you wins, but a well oiled machine can be just as if not even more effective.
