I love the passing if the torch scene. This also is Yachi’s first time being the manager on court, like Kiyoko said yachi needs to get used to not having her around anymore, which feels sad right when they introduce Kiyoko’s backstory a little and show how she came to care for the team. I also love how Kiyoko kind of comes to terms with not being on the “front lines” anymore, and how what she’s doing now is great and she’s still a part of everything. I truly believe that without ever single member of Karasuno’s team, players or not, we wouldn’t have come this far.

I enjoy how the mangaka comes back and gives more depth to characters later on, even if you kind of have an idea of how they work. Sometimes we take the simplicity of characters for granted, and adding on to that elevates that character a lot.

Also this is definitely the match with the wildest most unrealistic plays randomly. Hinata’s headbutt even though he was on the way down defies all physics, he’s just him ig. Seeing the grid for Kageyama and getting a little insight into how he views the game was also quite interesting.
