Hachishark

Wait if there’s marvel rivals content I’m super interested (unless it’s just a game for you to just chill).

Also they said it at the end but Kenma didn’t try to make it easier for himself, he made the game more difficult for him (unless you count beating them quickly as easier). He pushed himself to his limits and helped secure the win at the end. On the last play, Kenma did a jump set which he never does unless he gets a good pass. In all the other plays when he was tired, he did a lot of underhand sets since he was running which limits the attack options and makes it a lot easier for the opposing blockers. With the jump set, Kenma didn’t give any hints about where the ball was going which confused the blockers even further. He exerted the last of his energy there to give Nekoma the best opportunity he could provide and it paid off.

I’m not sure of you remember but last episode they mentioned that Nekomata was the coach of the other team when he was younger, so it wasn’t just acknowledgement from a powerhouse school but acknowledgement from who he learned from. You can tell by the flashback with younger Nekomata and how Aritaka (the other coach) also leads a defensive heavy team that Aritaka really respects Nekomata, which is why the mutual respect there meant a lot.

I guess the “aggressive” nature of Nekoma here was instead of just challenging sarukawa to a purely defensive battle where Nekoma would pamper Kenma with the receives (which Kenma said would be boring), Nekoma instead implemented a plan to pretend to play into Sarukawa’s plan and switch it on them at the last second
