yessirrrr that hinata moment was one of the best moments in the show for me, still damn near makes me shed a tear, seeing all the fruits of his labor finally pay off

Haikyuu does such a good job of building up these great character arcs and having it all culminate in one big moment that always feels so satisfying.

The Inarizaki team is crazy good like there’s no doubt about that, but if there’s one character that the show doesn’t hype up enough from their team it has to be Akagi their libero. Ig they took more of a show don’t tell route with him, but bro is literally everywhere picking up wild hits all game. And then the foot save from way out in the long rally was just the cherry on top. Yeah as liberos in this show go, I firmly believe he’s way up there.

The guy you didn’t recognize is both the johzenji coach as well as one of the people holding the first year training camp in the beginning of the season. He’s the one that tried to recommend Hinata for it and has generally always had his back, both trying to invite him in the first place and subtly trying to convince washijo to let him participate in the camp due to his effort.

The whole beginning of the episode taking its time to really tell you what “we don’t need the memories” means after all these episodes show you these characters embodying that mindset is always so cool to me. While maybe not perfect, it’s definitely a fun and interesting mindset to have. It’s very different from most of the mottos schools have had so far.

Karasuno's banner is great and I love it but Inarizaki's banner just hits so hard. Probably my favorite banner I've seen in the series.
