ObscureHours

I remember watching this in the theaters it was so peak. I did have some gripes with it since the pacing was too fast and they cut out a bit of stuff but overall fire

FSK40

ObscureHours

Yea you don't have to worry about the ending for Haikyuu it has one of the best endings I have seen to a manga or just in general for anime and the last match is easily the best match in sport animanga yall ain't ready.

Kageyama actually said “fly” instead of “jump” when he did that high set to hinata, mad they changed it 😭 also you’re crazy for picking lev’s sister over Saeko 🙏🙏

I like the matches being movies, higher quality and it’s more immersive since you get to watch the whole thing through

I definitely was sad that they cut out a lot of stuff to fit the duration of the movie's length, but I am in no way dissatisfied with how they adapted the movie. The movie's main focus was of course Hinata and Kenma's relationship but they did manage to almost address every relationship that the team had. I'm so in love with this movie since its the culmination of seeing all those episodes we've seen of their teams playing with each other and in turn bonding and this movie captures all of that even if just a little. The flashbacks for each of the teams with the music in the background gets me every time. What makes this the most emotional for me I think is that this match is a culmination of every match we've seen of theirs throughout the series and its finally over after this movie. Also, Watching this in the theaters was an experience with the sound design cranked up to 100 with those volleyball spikes and receives but personally, not being able to rewatch scenes was tough (I watched that Hinata high ball spike and a couple of other scenes like 20 times when it finally dropped online lmao). This movie really broke all my preconceived expectations regarding everyone's worries about cut content and I'm so very much excited about the next movie.

Watching this in the theater was such an experience, you could damn near feel it every time someone hit the ball. It was mostly empty too so enjoying it with some friends so it was still amazing, though I’d read it already so maybe it’s different from how it would’ve been for you. This movie does so so so many things amazingly that it’s hard to say anything negative about it, and I don’t wanna sound like I’m complaining either. All I’ll say is you should definitely read the manga if you have the chance, I promise you it’ll elevate this story even more. Nothing but love for this series. This is probably tied for my favorite match in the whole series so as someone who loves it, I want you to experience all of it.

Definitely feels like the end rn and that sucks but when the next movie comes out it’s gonna go so hard. Don’t even wanna yap too much this time, the movie spoke for itself. Can’t wait until there’s more.
