Who told you the movie was trash? It might not have been "best of this eon" but it was pretty damn good

And the ending was obvious, not awful. no spoilers though

Ignoring the weird movie hate, the music alone makes the movie worth the watch

I would say watch the movie just because it establishes a few characters that will be in season 3 and 8bit put the work in the animation for the movie imo it was a good movie haven’t heard the hate though

As you would say, calling the movie trash is crazy! I saw it in theaters and it was fun. Like, it wasn't revolutionary or anything. But it had some quite good action scenes, introduced some important characters for next(?) season, good world building, and bangin music. I would say the immediate plot and like tension were the weakest points. As a whole though I'd say it was good enough as far as anime movies go. I'd say it is worth watch, and your good to be honest with the parts you don't like. Also my boy Diablo plays a decent role and he needs more screentime.

Diablo lets go! And Veldora! My two favorite characters other than Rimuru join the fray!
