All hands on dick for the captain of The Balleater, Fjord Stone!!

(For however brief that captaincy was. I'm sure the skills from commanding such a vessel still apply. Everybody thank my oomf for informing me of this)

I'm afraid my particular brand of ADHD isn't very compatable with DnD so I don't have much personal experience with Critical Role, but I have an aforementioned oomf who has given me good bits and pieces and good word over the years, so I'm eager to do him justice!! They've given me a couple leads for handsome other men in this series and situations they could get into that i'm definitely considering, and my research has also given me some interesting tidbits... (can alter his appearance at will and looks very nice with a beard? #thinking... maybe I'll choose self indulgence and give him a lil scruff... what do you think?)

But it's not quite locked in place what I'm going to do with him yet!
So as I always say, feel free to suggest scenario ideas! no promises, but it doesn't hurt to have something to maybe workshop if I have some trouble!

As for the notice about billing!

i've dragged my feet sticking with first-of-the-month billing that charges people on the 1st of every month (which I like since it ensures everyone's paid from the get go for their rewards), but as of now in November 2026 I'm being forced into using subscription billing that charges reoccurring on the date people make their pledges.

Ultimately, this hopefully shouldn't change much - It's the same rewards and benefits, and you get what you pay for - and there's ways for me to make sure they only end up in the hands of people who've paid for it. I already do this for distributing POTMs by sending them out a couple days after the month they're made for, so that all patrons of that month have with certainty already been charged accordingly.

What this may effect is how I distribute the patron exclusive alts for 'middle of the month' artworks, that until now I've posted as regular posts on here on completion. I'm currently considering batch sending them out privately on initial release to people who've been charged by the time the artwork is finished, individually to people who are charged after by the time their payment has gone through, and then posting them as a regular post on the 1st of the next month so they can be accessed to all new patrons as part of the benefit of having access to my backlog catalog of exclusive alts that all new patrons have enjoyed for years. I'm currently not eager upload my entire catalogue of 'middle of the month' works to a linked folder - it'd be a very intensive task given how many years of works that is... But we'll see how it pans out.
