Got really into the art session to work on Noire, so I managed to get a lot done in a single sitting! I picked a very muddy, almost brown palette for her, something quite muted and earthy. I feel like that's the color of history oft times. It also happens to resemble the colors of a rather old book, doesn't it?

I also went a little further and did a little experimentation with tweaking my styles. While the picture for now is probably going to remain that same hand-painted feeling I usually do, I also have been trying out more digital tweaks like utilizing multiply screens. This is an example of the result.

It really comes out a lot simpler, but also a lot cleaner at the same time. I almost think that in the future, I ought to shift to utilizing this more often. Maybe even try it out with my other stories. What do folks think?
