And here's the first public version of Encounter 3! This is the first part of an absolutely humongous animation that was co-animated with Disregard67.

Our dino had already helped with previous projects by providing an excellent rig for Chloé. He however found himself to be a lot more available last year, which is why decided to turn this into a longer term collaboration and also have him contribute a good deal of character animation, more rigging and other things to this project. Because of his help, we were able to put in a lot more time into not only character animation itself, but also the scope and scale of the project. Rendering all of this is admittedly still a challenge as the GPU muscle I have available is still too little, but I've slowly been upgrading and will keep doing so throughout the coming year.

This is also the first animation that has been scored by the talented Fox Amoore! I've been familiar with his work for well over a decade, but never imagined he'd be open to work with someone as frivolous as me, ahhhhh! Needless to say it's been an honor to have him on the team, as his musical score elevated this to new heights and really helps making this feel like a proper short film. Note that I still made some music for this on my own until the 5-minute mark, though this was mostly due to an extension of the intro that made it into the animation in the last minute. Darkwitt has also returned providing his excellent sound design, while The Voice Vixxen and Baritone Vocant lent the characters their voices once more! Many thanks to all of them for being available with this and always being able to turn over things so quickly! Many thanks also to Acidic for the excellent sculpt he did on Chloé! It might have not worked out as a Zoe remake, but it still served another great purpose!

Lastly but certainly not leastly, I want to thank all of my patrons. Without you, I'd never be able to work on this stuff all day and decently compensate our collaborators, let alone afford the hardware to render such complex scenes, especially in a time where prices for these goods have gone bonkers. Seriously, thank you guys so much! ;w;
