So, I'm a little frustrated. My games normally use 28mm to 32mm size minis and I'm having trouble converting the larger minis to smaller minis to print. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help?

Steven Crawford
>>101088442

You should be able to downscale by about 10% or so without redoing supports, as a general guideline. More than that, and you'll want to either recalculate supports in Lychee or just redo them entirely.

Sean Bustard

Thanks for the amazing March release!! I love drow and these were just too good to pass up. Can't wait to print and paint these beauties. Just wondering though, i thought the monthly release came with a pdf stat block for the models. If so, I can't seem to find it with the downloads. Or am I just a bit slow lol?

Ash Thornton
>>101088442

I have found that reducing the overall size to 93.36% gives me nearly exactly the right size for my Kings of War armies, and no adjustments to supports are necessary.

Nick Holsomback

I'm not seeing the throwback or welcome pack files.

Zac

Random question but do you guys have just plain bases anywhere? I like the 'hollowed' design of your bases but sometimes that detailed stuff is limiting me from doing my own things with bases. Also would love a size between the 60mm and 100mm!

crippledgodfoundry
>>108374792

Greetings Zac. We do not have plain bases available at the moment. Thank you very much for your suggestions though, we will consider them!

Anonymous

Hi, I'm really appreciating all your work, and have recently subscribed and started checking a lot of your files. However, I'm just an amateur printer, not a painter/artisan expert, so when some minis are split with very little parts (e.g. city guard) I give up printing, because I'm unable to glue them together. Is there any chance of having those file as a whole miniature?

crippledgodfoundry
>>108506572

Hey Lamberto! Welcome and thank you for your support! We try to have our miniatures easy to print and with few parts as possible. But for some specific miniatures like the city guards, where we want to offer variations like alternative hands or weapons, we make cuts in specific parts. But it is very easy to glue them together, no expert skills required, just a drop of superglue!

Anonymous

Hi, another question please: last month I was regularly a Patreon, but I forgot to donwload the elf archer, promotional miniature. Is there any way to download it now? Every link now sends to the current month

crippledgodfoundry

Greetings Lamberto! We grant access to the previous releases on MyMiniFactory so you will find everything there, including the promotional miniature!

Anonymous

How long approximately until someone gets added on there? I just subbed to the Master of the Realm tier, but not sure how to go about downloading available STL files.

Anonymous

Hi, I'm a new subscriber. beautiful models. Was just curious how long it usually takes for things to appear on MMF. Thanks in advance.

crippledgodfoundry
>>110360769

Greetings and Welcome to our Patreon! We grant access to MMF within few days and we will do this again on Monday. We appreciate your patience!

Anonymous

Hi, I'm a new subscriber. I liked the last release of hell. Is there a download link? If so, do I have to pay for them even if I am subscribed?

crippledgodfoundry
>>110911966

Greetings Bryan and welcome to our Patreon! Every month we release a new set. The Hell Unleashed collection was the set of the previous month (May).

Anonymous

New Patreon subscriber here. Really excited to learn my new 3D printer in conjunction with these amazing minis.

crippledgodfoundry
>>111336105

Greetings Michael! Welcome to our Patreon! Thank you for the kind words and we wish you to have fun with our designs! Feel free to ask away if you have any question! Thank you very much for your support!

Anonymous

Hello, I wanted to buy something from your mmf store and wanted to apply the coupon but I'm not able to

Anonymous

Hi, I just joined yesterday, where can I find the welcome pack? Also the link has expired, did I just miss the June release?

Steve Myers

I was able to download everything for this month except for the terrain. I have tried with 3 different browsers, and the download always fails right at the end, giving a network error. Other files downloaded without a problem. Is there a way that you can place the terrain zip file on another service or re-upload the file? Thanks.

crippledgodfoundry

Greetings Steve! We will grant access to the files via MyMiniFactory, you will receive a notification later in the day so you can download them there also.

Anonymous

Im having trouble downloading can I also get a my mini factory link?

crippledgodfoundry
>>113573905

Hey Shawn! OF course, we have sent email notifications to access the monthly files via MMF. Feel free to reach out to us via PM if you have any issue. Enjoy!

Anonymous

Hi the scenery pieces and the frogs on the salamanders are not in the download folders. Where can I get those?

Anonymous

Generally speaking, how long does it usually take for the files to reach our MMF accounts each month?

crippledgodfoundry

Hey Curtis! After the 5th of every month, around 24-48hours. After that whenever a patron joins usually sees the files in MMF after 48 hours. Hope this helps!

Troy

Hi. Its been 72 hours since I signed up for this month's release, and I have nothing in MMF

Tommy Orndorff

Just signed up through Patreon and can't wait for the October releases!

Tim Marks

Do the monstober ones not come with bases? I don't mind but I wanted to make sure I'm not having a download issue. :)

crippledgodfoundry
>>118925530

Hello Tim! Most of the Monstrober minis doesn't have bases, you can use any one you like or these provided with the fantasy or sci-fi release!

James Boyden

Am I missing a link or have got confused perhaps - i just signed up for the Fantasy Hero Tier and thought that the voted throwback release (Era of forbidden magic) was part of this release? Perhaps I am missing it in my download or did it too soon...

James Boyden
>>117811467

I think they add them the following month once it closes out. The links are usually in the pinned posts to download them though

crippledgodfoundry
>>120172426

Greetings James! Welcome and thanks for reaching out. You should have received an email notification that the Era of Forbidden Magic is on your MMF library. We have send notifications to eligible backers. It will also delivered shortly via SYNC the link and password will be provided in your Tier Exclusive Post.

Anonymous

I am a Fantasy & Si-Fi Tier.....which do I download.

Tommy Orndorff

This may sound dumb, but where is the SYNC button that allows the extra promotions? In the ""Creator Showcase" - FREE miniature from White Werewolf Tavern!," when I click the link in the email, it takes me to September's items.

Anonymous

should Elanor, the Astral Blade be in the welcome pack? or is that being added later this month?

Jerrod Hansen

It would be really helpful if you didn't renumber welcome pack items. Just keep original numbering and add new items with higher numbers. Maybe this means that you take stuff out and future welcome packs then have gaps, but that is a lot better for the rest of us and makes it easier to keep track and updated.

crippledgodfoundry
>>92926122

Greetings Jerrod. I believe you are referring to the Throwback Collection. Yes we do exactly that after your suggestions!

Anonymous

noticed that there arent any individual photos for each model this month, will those come in later this month or are they in the download?

Anonymous

I'm getting the following errors when unzipping the throwback collection CRC failed: Throwback Collection\26_wraiths.zip Headers Error: Throwback Collection\32_OgreBerserker.zip Headers Error: Throwback Collection\18_Raksasha Merchant.zip Headers Error: Throwback Collection\8_Profonds.zip

Anonymous
>>93140209

I cant unzip the Welcome OR throw back zip files. I get an "error 79" message when I try unzipping. ..... First time backing you guys, so dunno whats up...

Stephen Rendall

Aswell as having issues unzipping files in throwback also having issues unzipping the following Clockwork arm left correction2 and several other corrected files as paths are too long

Mikah Kriyjkes
>>93240506

Not sure about this situation, but for files that are "too long", 7zip seems able to handle them for me

David Sives-Rutherford

is there a new throw back archive each month, and so did i miss the throw back collection for sep ?

crippledgodfoundry

Greetings! No you have access to it and the September files that left out for October are located under the September release on your MyMiniFactory Library.

crippledgodfoundry
>>93443134

Greetings David! Some of the miniatures of the welcome pack are replaced with others every month. The ones we removed are put in the previous Monthly release in your MyMiniFactory library so you will still be bale to access them.

crippledgodfoundry
>>93443134

For example, the Innkeeper and Orc Chieftain, were replaced in October and eligible patrons can loctate them in their September Release in the MMF library.

Anonymous

Hey I just joined and I cannot find the link to down load the Necromanteion of Acheron files. Am I just overlooking them?

Gagius

Hi, How do I subscribe to you in My Mini Factory? Or are the patreon and MMF not linked?

Gagius
>>93827441

Thank you. I´ve created my account now, is that process (of recieving the files) automatic or should I wait? I don´t mind waiting, just curious about the Necromanteion of Acheron.

crippledgodfoundry
>>93827441

You are welcome! Sharing the files via MMF takes about 24-48h to fulfill as it is a manual procedure. You can find the Necromanteion files in the SYNC Folder of this month's release.

Nate Crackel
>>93140209

Scratch that, I downloaded the "problem files" as individual zip files, and they unzipped just fine.

Thorsten Brandes

Hiho! I have problems with your bases. In todays times i am awaiting optimized files with sockets for magnets, less resin usuage so no solid bases but open to the bottom and the supports does not work at all for me. They are too fragile to hold. I always have to put the support on manually to make sure that the bases are printed correctly. And no don't think it's a printer issue cause i have a printer farm and bases from other designers are working well. Maybe you can take the suggestions into account and improve the delivered value even further. Keep up the great work :)

Anonymous

I'm trying to access the link on Oct 31st and it says expired. Sorry, it's been a busy month only able to get to it at the last minute. Hope you can help. Cheers!

Anonymous

I am trying to access the link on Oct 31st as well and was unable to. I did not know that the link would end before the month did.

crippledgodfoundry
>>94690462

Greetings David! We apologize for this delay. We will send you a PM with the SYNC links and you will be also granted access to the files via MyMiniFactory!

crippledgodfoundry
>>94691743

Greetings Edward & Jez! We apologize for this delay. We will send you a PM with the SYNC links and you will be also granted access to the files via MyMiniFactory!

I can't join the Patreon Discord server

Douglas Curfew

Calling the module a "module" is stretch if I ever saw one. A one page introduction and then a bunch of stats to go along with this month's release a module does not make.

crippledgodfoundry
>>94852135

Greetings Douglas, thank you very much for your feedback. We do not advertise this as a complete adventure. As we state in the description: "You get a .PDF module with the stat blocks of all the miniatures of the release, including monsters & NPCs!" So we offer a page with the lore and concept of the release, and stats & lore for the miniatures. And as a goal, we aim on having a complete adventure every month, if we reach 1k patrons.

David Sives-Rutherford

is there a new throwback file each month, and if so, can i get access to the oct one if i message you, i missed it :(

crippledgodfoundry
>>95015979

Greetings David! The Throwback Collection is the same except we remove 2 miniatures and replace them with others every month. These who got replaced (Tressym and Vine Blights) are located in the October release in your MMF Library.

crippledgodfoundry
>>95015979

No, check your "October '22: Quest for the Darkstone" library entry. There you will locate Tressym and Vine Hounds minis that were replaced.

Cory Carter
>>94852135

I agree with the request to change the terminology of Module to Stat Sheets or Stat Block or even Supplement for the sake of understanding what is being provided. Module is used synonymous with Adventure, basically back in the Ad&d or TSR days they were Adventure Modules which meant a story with paths, encounters AND stat blocks. Not complaining as the price is low so there is no way it should be expected that a full adventure is provided monthly.

Anonymous

Where is the promotional miniature? Cant find it in the sync folder

Jack Noron

Promotion Folder on Sync is missing indeed.

Treebeard

I'm not finding the crossover model, and I don't want to miss it.

Anonymous

Are the promotion models and module available from the MMF download or do they need to be downloaded from SYNC?

Mog Watt

For Patreon , do you share your files on MyMiniFactory ?

crippledgodfoundry
>>96412025

Greetings! Correct! Usually takes some days to appear, due to this being a manual procedure. Please check out your MMF library, the files of this release should be there!

Anonymous

Sorry, got in really late on November and it looks like the link to the throwback collection has expired. Is this the same every month (so I can just use the link when it's updated for next month) or is there another way I can get access to this? I also have a MMF account with the same email address that I'm using here.

crippledgodfoundry
>>96628070

Thanks for the heads up, we fixed this. Please check again and you will also receive the files in your MMF library! Thank you for your support!

Anonymous
>>96628070

Wow, thanks for the quick response! Looking forward to next month's release, you guys make awesome stuff!

crippledgodfoundry
>>96628070

Greetings Justin. You will receive the files via MMF shortly. You will receive an email notification as soon as they become available!

Anonymous

I have an account with MMF using my same email address but I have yet to receive any email and have recieved none of the collections via MMF even though I have been a patron since October. Do you have any idea why?

Anonymous
>>96829673

I also have another patron that it does work for, so its not that my email or account is messed up.

Anonymous

Hi,is it just me or is anyone else having issues downloading some of the minis this month? I have trouble downloading the warlord, Tarnaruk, the watchtower and 2 of 3 Terrain piece files. It stops at 60-80% and won't continue. The other files I was able to download just fine.

crippledgodfoundry
>>96835174

Greetings! Sorry to hear about this. Have you tried to download them one-by-one? Or you can try download them after a while. Maybe this is an issue with SYNC.

crippledgodfoundry
>>96829673

Greetings Curtis! We will check it out and get back to you. In any case you will receive an email notification from MyMiniFactory. Please check your inbox or spam/promotions folder.

Anonymous
>>96835174

Hi, I've been having issues as well. Some parts are not downloading, so far Terrain Pieces, Terrain Pieces3, Tarnuk Giant and Orc Watch Tower are failing, complete mini package also gave an error.

Anonymous

Having download issues as well, tried both the larger ZIPs and they fail

Anonymous

they will not download for me as well

Anonymous

i cant download as well

Anonymous

The same starts then stop at 10MB on all downloads

crippledgodfoundry

Greetings! We will look into the download issues and get back to you asap!

Milo_Jones

Same issue with download. After about 220mb, i drop from 8mb download to 500kb download then it fails :(

Anonymous

I managed to download the main files but when I tried to download the terrain files that is were I found problems. Got them all on MMF now but just thought I'd put this up incase it helps narrow it down

David Sives-Rutherford

are missed last months throwback collection, any chance of getting a direct link to it ?

crippledgodfoundry
>>96904214

The throwback collection is the same with the exception of removing and adding few models each month. You will find the throwback collection link in the pinned post and we will add the new models tomorrow.

Lee Sanford

Could I get a Discord link? The pinned one is expired.

Anonymous

Hello! Is Tribe Rewards different from how we usually get our monthly items delivered to MMF? I have been getting them prior but this month is nowhere to be seen just yet.

crippledgodfoundry
>>98967028

Greetings! Are you referring to the availability of this month's release on MMF in addition to Patreon as SYNC link? Sharing the release to MMF for our patrons is a manual procedure that takes some time. We will send email notifications to all eligible Patrons to get the January release on MMF also on monday.

Anonymous
>>98967028

Great. Thank you. I wasn’t sure if things changed since I couldn’t find any Tribe Rewards page on MMF. :)

Zac

Anyone tried printing the Vomit Beast yet? I got like a million islands on the pre-supported file for it D: Edit: I think it's from hollowing the model, Does anyone know if these are real islands?

crippledgodfoundry
>>99026868

Hello! All the files provided are successfully test printed by us, Vomit Beast included. Did you tried to print it and it failed?

Zac
>>99026868

Actually printed near perfect, and the islands only appeared after hollowing I discovered, so it's possible that the inside has some fails but that obviously doesn't matter. All good mate but thanks for the response!

Zac

Only thing I'm missing is that (IMO) 75mm base sweet spot for huge D&D monsters, anyone tried rescaling the bases and using recalculate support option in Lychee? I imagine it should print just as well?
