Life Update: I'm Moving! (Patreon)

Hey gang! There’s gonna be a shake up in the post routine for a little while!

Don’t worry it’s a good change! But generally people don’t like change so I’m gonna try to give as much of a heads up in advance :)

The TDLR is that my wife and I bought a house! Woo! 🎉

Lemme tell you though, this whole “capitalism thing” is a drag! Boy howdy it’s a process to become a homeowner right now! There’s a lot of money and time and other people involved with it that can really burn you out and zap the energy for creative projects… 😮‍💨

So! Over the next few months, the posts I have queued up will (most likely) transition  into posts about moving house and like… idk… real life stuff?

Full transparency, I actually don’t have a strong idea of what the next chunk of time will look like in terms of “content” for you all. But I do want to update everyone as things happen! Maybe shots of before/after my work station? Status updates about project plans? Just posts about BTS stuff that’s literally behind the scenes of the behind the scenes (if that wasn’t already contrived enough)

Who knows! Honestly it’s gonna be the Wild West of “what the heck am I gonna post to patreon before I give myself crippling anxiety”

There won’t be an immediate change in posts, but change is a comin! I still have content queued and coming down the pipe like some more Indiana Jones and Jin Spider-Man stuff. Plus I've photographed a buncha stuff in anticipation of this move. Stuffl like X-Men, Flash, Rami Spider-Man, and BTAS content, but it's just not edited or written for at the time of writing this... so who knows. Nothing is set in stone at the moment...

I’m not sure when we’ll reach a point where I’m out of proper lego content from being away from a camera/computer for so long, but it will happen and we’ve all just got to be okay with that for a little bit (myself included). However I'm still gonna do my best to pivot into making "Moving Posts" so I don't go fully radio silent on you guys :)

With that in mind, I want to say thank you for all the continued support! I’ve been posting to Patreon since about 2016 and in that time, all my content has been produced in the one dinky apartment in the corner of the living room.

Who knows what things will look like when this is all over and I finally have a proper office space! A designated work area that suits the needs of what I create now vs what I did in 2016!

It’s kinda scary to think about all this change as anything other than What If It All Goes Wrong? But I’m doing something that feels very adult and challenging to me and my personal life. Something that will ultimately be a good thing for myself and the people around me.

(or so I’m trying to tell myself)

But yeah… I’m nervous about it. I’m stressed out of my mind over what comes next. But I want to keep this ball rolling, even if I have to slow it to a crawl for a while. Lord knows I’ll be back to full steam when it’s all over!

I just hope I don’t miss out on any cool new figs in that time and that nothing gets lost in the mail 🤞🏻

The big move will start to take place around early May some time, and then getting settled might also take a bit more of my time? Who knows!
