If you can believe it, I spent almost five hours behind a camera for this photoshoot (seriously!)

This was a really fun endeavor into some old school creativity. It was the kind of thing that I don’t get the time to flex as often as I used to. I wanted to harken back to my Flickr roots and just shoot a bunch of random stuff on a build and see what would happen!

Lots of random poses and angles and such and well, I’m pretty happy with the results! Oh but this this Hawkeye shot was a real pain in the butt!

Keeping my 15yr old tripod in place without it toppling was a challenge, because (just like me) it’s old, and its joints don’t work so well. Not to mention I have no tables or apple boxes or anything stable enough to place it on for height. Nor any cross beam support type stuff to suspend Hawkeye with! So for a majority of this shoot I was just holding him out at arms length and trying my damndest to keep in still and in focus!

Remember to drink water during your photoshoots kids, because my arm was SORE afterwards!

Oh and because I took a literal gazillion images with Hawkeye, I put together a gif of just a few of them that came out oaky! 😂

But besides this one shot! This was seriously such a fun photoshoot to fully bring together! I’ve only been planning the damn thing since forever, and fully getting my butt in gear back in July while waiting for figs to be delivered!

While I’ve wanted to shoot his scene properly for a long time now, everything just sort of finally fell into place. In fact you could say that about this entire month of Avengers stuff! One by one, these figs all came into my possession either by sheer fluke, or years of waiting (still bummed about that Jin Hulk though…) But life moves on! After all, it feels like only yesterday when this movie came out!

So for now, it’s on to the next project!

...after a small nap 😴
