Now here’s a fig that should've been reviewed a couple years ago with the rest of the Inhumans! But but L1N6 works in strange ways, and didn’t release it with the rest of the group for some reason! So naturally it just flew by my radar when it was released back in Feb of 2024. However! Lucky for you (and me I suppose), I recently found it floating around on OutsideBrick and nabbed one of the last they had in stock!

Now most of you know, I’ve been on the fence about L1N6 figs for a good long while now. Some are just amazingly incredible! While others are have just been simply bad figs.

And this fig, well… I debated if I even wanted to review it! But with the new Fantastic Four movie coming out, I said to myself those three magic words… Brand Synergy Babyyyyyy! So we’re gonna talk about it okay! 👀

L1N6 has had a bad history with the color green. But thankfully this time around, they did some decent color matching to the Lego-Official Bright Green and Dark Green! But uh… the custom collar didn’t quite match their own inks though 🤷🏻‍♂️

The parts themselves are well 3D printed though!

But while we’re still talking print quality, things are pretty decent when it comes to the fig! The 360° prints around the limbs are well aligned (for the most part) and adds some value to the fig overall! The alignment isn't perfect, but I guess what I’m saying is that there’s no ink where it shouldn’t be! So I really can’t complain!

I could also say the same about the fig’s overall design!

L1N6 seems to have taken some queues from the Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 Video Game, but elevated a lot of that design to something more “collectable”

Compared to the game, the large chest area of the armor was removed in favor of print. In my opinion that was a good call! This character is generally depicted as a skin-and-bones sun of a gun, so to thin him out was beneficial to the overall look!

L1N6 also added a nice amount of linework for those limbs, getting us an even more comic accurate design! The two facial designs are probably the make or break for some collectors of L1N6 figs. Up until this fella, their facial designs haven’t been the greatest...

But these two we got here are good! Almost as if they weren’t even designed by L1N6! They look like they could have quite literally come from an official Lego designer. So kudos to that! But I would have loved even more expression out of them. A more angry look, something more menacing with ginnign white teeth... ya know. There's good, and then there's better.

All in all, this Maximus fig is another solid Inhuman that finally rounds out the iconic seven! $90 felt reasonable for some nice quality custom parts and lots of good printwork! Good job L1N6! I wasn't fully disappointed this time!
