Something I very rarely talk about, which is the molding of Christo's Flash Helmets!
In order to see both of the eyes from certain angles, I actually have to turn the helmets due to the nature of the molds. The fact that a camera does not have dual lenses like a human to adjust for depth perception... it's a bit weird, but kinda funny :P
It's odd though, the space between the eye sockets is slightly too thick for the figs to wear straight on if I'm photographing them from the side! You can see with the photos on the left, how things line up just fine, but if I change my camera angle at all, you can see the the headgear has to be shifted to accommodate that interesting “flaw” (for the lack of a better word).
I don't talk about it all the time, but nearly every time I work with Christo Flash figs I have to do the minor adjustments throughout the photoshoots to get both eyes in the eye sockets. It's just kinda weird, but a fun thing to point out :P
But hey, that's it for this week! I hope I've satisfied your Flash cravings for a while! It feels like forever since I've photographed him :P
Thank guys! I'll see you when I see you! :)
