The Mushroom Build! (Patreon)

So I’m gonna be totally honest here, this build was not designed by me! It was recolored and assembled by me, but the original build was created by Bruce Lowell!

Have you ever heard of The Lowell Sphere before? Well if you haven’t, this guy is the one who (for lack of a better word) “created” the Lego sphere with studs on all sides! He’s been part of the Lego Flickr community for ages and if I’m not mistaken, even had a few of his designs featured in the end credits of The Lego Movie! :)

But hey, I did something different this time around and photographed a kind of step-by-step process to building this "reverse-engineered" build. There was a ton of crazy Lego math involved and was a blast to re-create! :)
