BLACKLIGHT! Wooo! :P

Weird things happen when you mix Lego and UV Light (or blacklight as the 90s like to call it)

Consider this a study/report on my findings! :P

For one, there are some opaque and transparent colors that react to it, and others that don't! The most stark of the Lego color palette tended to be Reds, Bright Greens, Trans-Greens, and Trans-Bright Greens. Then on the other side of that, Whites and multiple shades of Blues appear quite neutral, almost becoming muddied together.

I think the thing that throws me off the most is how Reds can be all one color, but with a bit of UV light you can easily identify different shades. But you know what's crazy is that any elements molded in Dark Red aren't effected at all! WHAT?!

Now I don't know about you, but I got a kick out of this when messing around with my new little flashlight tool, and ultimately, this little joy ride of going through each drawer of my sorting system may have inevitably inspired a large chunk of this GL shoot! :)
