Bat designs! (Patreon)

So here's an interesting dilemma I came across when assembling Batgirl. My design for her emblem and belt to be centered on the torso required some funky math. In images one and two, you can see that the assembly to get the torso to remain as flush to the bricks on either side left me with a small gap just below the belt area, but flush at the top.

So after tinkering with the concept a little while longer, I came up with this second idea (Images 3 and 4) where the build was flush with the bottom most plates of the body, but that same little gap was now at the top of the assembly.

So because Lego plates just don't quite mach up some times and you really don't want to screw around with your Brickheadz, I took a slice out of one of my spare bracket plates, and stuck it to the underside of the bricks built for the head to fill that stupid gap :P

So despite not getting a flush torso in the end, this was (surprisingly) a much sturdier build and ultimately what I stuck with for the final design :)
