Another color variant in my collection! (1/2) (Patreon)

So here he his, DiamondCustomBricks “Reverse Thunderer” figure, which as I pulled him out of the packaging my general vibe was... “...He's fine”

If DCB's intention was to make a 'Reverse Colored Captain Marvel' then he's alright, but if they were trying to make Zazzo (the only character to kinda resemble Billy Batson to have ever worn this costume to my knowledge) then they did kind of a crap job :P

I say that, because despite now owning yet another cool custom minifigure, the longer I look at him, the more I find things I dislike about him. Which shouldn't be the case when he was around $40. It really could have been better.

Like the custom molded hair piece was an interesting choice to include when it's nearly identical to an existing Lego Element. That's fine I suppose, but it could be better made because it looks a bit rough around the edges.

His torso is double sided, but the back print has no belt... which I guess is fine since the cape will be covering it most of the time, but it's an odd thing to leave out.

His head print is slightly larger than that of the regular minifig standard and like... the design is fine, but the scaling could be better.

He also comes with a printed cape... but it's only printed on one side...

You get the idea, right? Out of the package, I wasn't super impressed, but I still like him! So naturally I had to customize this figure quite a bit after I received him :P
