It's a really well designed and captures the 'Lego Look' quite well, but the drum lacquer'ed figure elements really take the cake! Rather than printing on Lego's pearl silver elements, Lab9 took it a step beyond and coated the entire figure in silver before printing over it!

One Interesting aspect about that silver coating, is that he's an incredibly stiff figure to pose. Every point of articulation has a tightness to it that makes me just a bit nervous that something might snap, especially at the hip joints. I've snapped my fair share of standard Lego hips in the past when legs didn't fit properly, but on a custom like this, I don't like taking that chance :P

The fig aslo has a chromed emblem as well, similar to UG's Red Death Flash. Also (bottom right) I wanted to see what he'd look like with Zane's hair from Ninjago, and it's not to bad, but there's obviously a color/shading difference between the two.

He also came in a standard big dumb plastic box that's great for shipping, but I never know what do do with after the fact! :P

I’d love to see a major force custom. Hopefully we get one because It’d be dope to see kyle’s girlfriend in the fringe

Wow! That IS really cool. Zane's hair works pretty well with the face printing, too.

Ah... But this thing needs great care. The paint can get easily scratch by poor handling or by friction, IE arms rubbing against the torso. Take care not to move around the fig so much. I have poor experience with metallic paint on Lego.

Oh yes definitely! I've only owned him for a little over a month now and I can already faintly tell he's fading under the arms :P I try my best to keep my hands clean when I work with my minifigs, but this one might just need a little more protection :P
