Long time Patron's will know that I'm a cheap son of a brick and I don't own a whole lot of professional photography tools, but I'm very good at improvising :P

So here, I'm using a 'homemade light defuser' with nothing more than small Pick-A-Brick Cups! :P

They work surprisingly well, actually! They fit right over my External Flash, and depending on the amount of light I want to defuse, I could either add another cup or two, or even take a few away!  Less cups let out more hard light, while more cups would soften the light and defuse it! On average I used two to three cups at any given time for most of this photoshoot :)

Also, I'd like to point out that I captured all of these shots using the 'Live Feature' with the iPhone XR camera to catch the external flash as it fired, and man, even though I hate auto-setting cellphone camera's, I was pleasantly surprised by how I managed to capture these images (It might just be the hype of going from an iPhone 6 Camera to an XR, but that's beside the point) :P
