Right behind hopper, Joyce has got to be my favorite character from the show. Her emotional state in constant flux but her motivations always consistent. She doesn’t take shit from anyone, and she’ll put her life in the line for her son no matter what!

This was one of those scene where right after she follow’s Will’s ‘ghost’ (for lack of a better term) and chops a hole in the wall, she’s shaken, but she isn’t giving up. She’s armed and ready to defend herself and fight for what’s right and it’s SUCH. GOOD. CHARACTER WRITING. GUH!
