Flash Comics No.1! (Patreon)

So with all the buzz about the new CMF Series right around the corner and the surplus of Jay Garrick minifigs I’ve acquired in the past few months, it feels only natural to finally tackle this classic comic cover!

There’s something about this old cover that makes me smile from the corny-ness, while simultaneously wanting to barf from the sheer amount of color it has.

We've got... *deep breath* red, yellow, blue, orange, green, black, grey, white, dark blue, silver, bright green, tan, gold, bright blue, dark green, dark brown, bright yellow… geez! Why?!

It’s like DC strapped a B&W version of the cover to the front of a moving semi truck which then hit a flock of geese inside of a sandcastle eating bowls of lucky charms and carrots... like oh my gosh… I don’t get it! It’s SO bad! :P

I mean sure… if the original colorist really wanted to catch your eye on newsstands, man he did his job WELL!

Anyway, I finally got around to building, then shooting, and then editing, then writing up, and finally queuing posts about this photoshoot ft Crystal Minifgs parts! So yeah, that’s what this week is about!

...Man I need a nap
