Fluid Motion (Patreon)

I… I think this might be my first Lego Stop-Motion project… wow! How many years have I been working with Lego now? ...Geez, took me long enough!

This little dude is seriously the coolest thing I’ve developed in easily the past five years of building stretchy guys (See Plastic Man, Jake the Dog, Elongated man...), but Reed here makes me the proudest yet! I tinkered around with him for many many months off and on to really find the right pieces that worked. Not only just to look elastic, but also structurally strong enough to pose and mess around with to make cool GIFs like this! :)

I wanted to incorporate not only square shapes, but round ones too, so finding the right balance took quite some time. Funny enough, I actually found a bit of inspiration from Diamond Select's Minimates Toy Line believe it or not, and man, this was so much fun to put together, you have no idea! :P
