It’s A Double Review! (Patreon)

Yes yes, by this point, I’m a little late to the party, but at least I’m finally getting around to it, right? (please don’t be mad) :P

Naturally, Phoenix Custom’s Cap is (and should always be) the center of attention, with a fantastic print job and a custom helmet that is out of this world!  

UG’s Thanos is also a stunning figure by comparison! Incredible custom accessories, and that bright vibrant metallic gold print is just amazing!

Both came with steel collector cards and those nice lil plastic clamshells that I have too many of now, but are great for shipping figs in.

Now with nearly all of my custom figs, they’re not perfect, but none rarely are… (yes my standards might be a bit over the top). My only two minor gripes are with Cap’s hands and Thanos’ helmet.

To my knowledge, the brown and light flesh hands were produced by eclipsegrafx; As amazing of a design choice on PCB’s part, these little hands are very very very tight to grip most bars and elements. Almost as if the modifications made (possibly an outer coating or sealant of some kind to preserve the print) make the hand just that much thicker than normal Lego hands.

My second gripe was that Thanos’ helmet sits waaaay to high up on his head. Like, his eyes are supposed to be just barely peeking out from below the brow, but instead the helmet gives him some serious fivehead.

Regardless, the level of fantastic detail that both of these figs have is just nuts and I just keep coming back to it! The shiny scales and teeny tiny “A”’s on Cap, to the subtle black lines all over Thanos; it just blows me away how far both of these two customizersnhave come in the past few years!  
All that said, I don’t regret either one of these, and I’m glad to own both :)
