Okay strap in because here’s all of em! (Patreon)

Yes you heard me! All of em! (plus a handy little GIF comparing the three major players this week)
Comparing them subjectively, Christo unsurprisingly comes out on top in terms of quality (mainly among the helmet pieces) but for me, the designs just look so stiff and rigid compared to modern Lego designs (and subsequently Jaka’s designs) looking looser to an almost cartoony style.
Now when we take a look at the HUGE lineup... The classic Jay Garrick design has gone through many many many different customizers by now and they’ve each covered new and old details in their own unique ways trying to capture either a specific artist’s style or costume variation.
Seen here are the brands from L-R

The thing I find most interesting is how despite all of them having a similar appearance (no doubt from the source material), they all have bits of Christo’s original engineered minifig design in each of them (since he was technically the first to pioneer a Golden Age Flash back in 2015 it's very hard not to see it).
You can particularly see what I mean in the helmets of most of the figs and how they have headpieces designed to look tilted back (rather than level with the ground). They each have their own unique flare though, but all feel somewhat inspired by his original design from way back when.
One thing I don’t think I’ll ever understand though, is why Christo won’t print on the backs of his fig’s legs. When you look at these group shots, the plain-backed legs are a huge eye sore in the line up!
And while we’re on the topic, the two Android Jay’s (Yellow) there are far more liberties taken with this design, given that the character only appeared in one panel in one book almost thirty years ago. I like Jaka’s idea to use Dark Red rather than standard red, however I feel like Christo’s Red matches better with the overall collection of his three figures (makes it feel more of a truly reversed color scheme).
All in all, they’re each wonderful in their own ways, and I think that’s pretty neat! :)
If you guys want to see each of the individual in-depth reviews to each or any of these figures when I received them, just check out the Reviews tag or even the Jay Garrick tag here on Patreon to find them all :)
