 Alright strap in, cuz I gotta lot to say about these two!

It's sad to say... but I feel like these two are the least original out of my designs for the Enterprise crew. I'm compelled to say that both dsainz31 from Insta and Curt Quarquesso from flickr served as huge inspirations for these two in particular... not that that's a bad thing!

However I feel as though my builds didn’t quite retain as much of an original take from me. They feel more of a re-build or kit-bash of 'original elements' and 'borrowed designs'. ...I suppose that’s not a bad thing right…? They just didn’t come together as naturally as the others did. ...I just hope they don’t come across that way :P

Deanna was easily my least favorite. I tried to  push the envelope with her but I really don’t know how else I could have shaped her hair better while also maintaining the volume and the curly-ness of her original first few seasons. Originally I wanted to design her Magenta/Purple uniform from some of the later seasons, but didn’t even come close to having all the parts needed to make it work. I’m also not super happy with how her ponytail turned out… could have been longer with more curl to the end, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out how to shape something like that with the elements I had. But hey, it is what it is.

Man does she have a weird hairstyle. ...Space hair is weird.

On the other hand, Mr Worf, complete with a slice of Cellular Peptide Cake was another that ended up not quite how I envisioned it. His head build was inspired in part from dsainz31 from Insta, but I really would have loved to make his hair dark brown rather than black, but there were too many elements that I wanted to use that haven't been made in that color (particularly the 1x1 quarter tiles and the 1x2 bracket for his facial hair)

Also the use of a chain for his baldric felt more fluid than using something like a 1x4 grey tile attached directly to his body. However that meant messing with the uniform design and replacing some cheese slopes with tiles to compensate. It doesn't flow nearly as good as the others do.

idk, I’m not not happy with them. I like them. But they just didn’t turn out how I really would have liked (if that makes any sense at all).

That being said they’re still great! ...Maybe I can even try to tackle Worf again with a DS9 uniform and see where that will take me ;)
