BlackStar Minifigure has done it again! (Patreon)

Alright alright alright! Yes I know I kept putting this one off for other things but hey, I finally got around to this one! (only took me two months!)

Well let me tell you that this is a minifigure holy smokes! For being only their fifth (or sixth) figure BlackStar has released, this one really takes the cake!

However I did sigh a little when I opened the mailer to find yet again another fig ordered that came with a big ol’case that I have no use for!

...Woo.

But, you’ve really gotta give it to some of these new guys on the scene, they’re all about the presentation!

Bats here came in a big fancy tin, and for what I can recall, it’s the first figure I’ve ever ordered to come shipped without one of those little plastic bags around the fig in some way! Not that it matters too much (but more on that in a second), the fig itself was packed VERY snugly within a sort of hard foam insert that no-doubt added to the unnecessary $135 price tag.

Also, there seemed to be a metal numbered plate of some kind under the hard foam packing, but I was unable to get it out. I assume the intention was the foam insert comes out, but it was basically impossible to do so without damaging it or the tin case some way.

Also also it came with… a poster… or like… a big collectors card…? Idk, but it was all crunched up soo yeah. It’s the cool render they first released as a teaser for the fig back in August, so it’s kinda neat to own a physical version of it. However, just like the metal tin, idk what I’m gonna use it for :P

Also because I’m complaining, and I like to do that... Ancient God is a dumb name. The name makes more sense if this was a Superman fig… but an old walking neck-brace of a Batman doesn’t quite fit :P
