Final Thoughts! (Patreon)

Well to say it couldn’t be topped might be premature, but I genuinely don’t think anybody else could have made a better Phase 1 MCU Captain America. LifeBrick really knocked it out of the park here while the bases were loaded and then won the game and then took the team to the championships because holy moley is this just… it sure is a minifig let me tell ya!

I think it was smart of LifeBrick to re-release this updated version of Cap. Their own restrictions on V1 really shot themselves in the foot, and for a long while, really soured my opinion of them as a brand due to how they handled it.

Additionally, I’m not the biggest fan of private-ordering figures through instagram DM’s like a drug dealer in a back alley somewhere. That first fig was an awkward experience throughout, only to never even get one. But refining the design, streamlining the buying process, upping the quantity, and listing it on MiniMocha’s site all made V2’s acquisition sooooo much better!

Well… not that producing only 150 made it that much easier to snag as a casual collector. It’s not like most of you guys are crazy person running a patreon, over-obsessing over every detail of a $100 two-inch plastic play thing that sold out within two hours upon release to the public….

But that’s just my two cents though :P

Anyway I think that about does it guys. So to wrap up this week, here’s movie Cap and movie Supes that will unfortunately never meet each other on the big screen… but hey, I can dream right? :P

Let me know what you guys all think of this fig though! Did you also manage to get one? Does it raise the bar for custom figs to come in 2021? Am I overthinking all of this?!

Okay I’m gonna log off now. Till next time! :P
