Just like the past PCB Rami suit fig, this one is nothing short of the same quality. Printed in nearly the same way, it’s an absolutely solid fig through and through.

The textured detailing is just as nice as the first fig, only the biggest difference being that the texturing is also applied to the head. However (and this might just be a personal opinion), I feel like this fig could have really benefited from a fully 360 degree application to it’s entire print.

Understanding the limitations of printing, it may have not been an option for PCB. But the lack of texture in areas like the back of the hips, or the webbing on the back of the feet where the printing just stops is a little jarring. While it’s noticeable, at the same time it doesn’t detract from this fig because it matches how the other red/blue fig was printed.

I think it might be that without the aspect of the dual molded legs that the previous fig benefited from, I feel like the lack of webbed boot printing on the back takes away the wow factor a little…. (but my completionist brain tells me again that it’s not a big deal because that’s the way the other fig was printed and I get stuck in a logic loop)

But enough about his naked spider-butt!

The bonus Toby Maguire head is also a nice inclusion, not just for this fig, but for the previous one as well to have an unmasked Peter Parker! One thing that Phoenix is revered for his lego-ifed translations of real-world actors (like the recent Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye that I missed out on both… still bitter about that)

This fig is no exception! The neutral face is perfect, and the subtle dark print around the eyes, and that creepy smile for the symbiote Peter! It’s just a wonderful piece!

Also what a champ for including not one, but two hair pieces for the head… now if only I had two of the heads :P
